At The Eye Care Clinic we invest in the health of our patients eyes with the latest technology. We are one of very few practices that are leading the way in Myopia Management, with the new Myah Biometer. This easy to use instrument gives us a wealth of information to help build our myopia clinic.

A short sighted myopic eye focuses the light rays entering the eye infront of the retina rather than on it. A myopic eye is predisposed or encouraged by external factors to increase in length therefore increasing myopia.

With the new Myah we can monitor this length and with new research using a specialist lens in glasses or contact lenses reduce the rate of progression.
