One of the simplest, most powerful habits for supporting digestion, energy, and blood sugar balance is to gently move your body after you eat. Nothing intense. Nothing structured. Just a few minutes of light movement to help your system do what it’s designed to do.

One thing I’m continually reminded of is this: every difficult situation carries within it the seed of an equal or greater opportunity. It’s not always obvious in the moment, but it’s always there.

Life is balanced. For every perceived drawback, there is a benefit. For every loss, there is a gain. When we shift from asking “Why is this happening to me?” to “How is this serving me?” the entire situation transforms.

💡 The moment you see both sides, you gain power.
You stop feeling like a victim of your circumstances and start becoming the architect of them.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Kate to the Your Health Now team. Her depth of experience, grounded presence, and passion for holistic wellbeing make her a beautiful addition to our space.

Kate is a Trauma & Addiction informed Yoga Instructor with over 6 years teaching experience in the community and has been the resident yoga teacher in La Mon Hotel for 5 years.

Additionally, Kate is a qualified Breathwork Instructor, a Soundbath Facilitator & Meditation Teacher with a passion for helping people feel safe and at ease in their bodies.

She has enjoyed her own personal practice for over 20 years now and has a love and respect for all natural healing modalities. In October 2026 she will be heading to University to study Biomedicine & Naturopathic Nutrition for 3 years.

She has 2 daughters, 2 dogs, a husband and also helps run their family business Alpine Signs. In her spare time you will find her walking her dogs in the forest.

This also arrives at the perfect moment, as our HOCATT wellness suite has now been running for a full year. Over the past 12 months we’ve watched clients embrace their sessions, share incredible feedback, and experience meaningful shifts in their wellbeing. It has been such a privilege to witness.

If you’ve seen my recently launched website, you’ll have noticed we have some fantastic models helping me out. We had Suzanne Reid Photography come down for a photo shoot. Suzanne was brilliant — I’m not great at having my photo taken! — but she made us all feel relaxed and turned it into a really fun day, and that definitely shines through in the photos.

My daughter was one of the models, and she looks absolutely amazing — her confidence and joy really come through. She loved every minute of the shoot, and Suzanne made sure she felt comfortable, included, and celebrated throughout.

I’d highly recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a photographer who’s professional, friendly, and able to put you completely at ease. Her work speaks for itself.

Hi, I'm Gillian. I am passionate about helping others achieve optimum health.

Lifestyles are so busy that health often suffers and months or years of small issues can manifest into bigger problems.
