It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sad passing of the late Mr Liam Corey R.I.P.

Corey, Ballymena (formerly Coalisland) 30th July 2025, peacefully at home. Liam R.I.P. Loving husband of Anne and devoted father to Rónán and Niamh, father in law to Nuala and Luke, son of Mary Corey and of the late Paddy Corey R.I.P. dear brother of the late Patrick and Joseph R.I.P.(Coalisland).
His remains will be removed from his home at 9.30am on Saturday 2nd August for 10 a.m. Requiem Mass in All Saints’ Church, Ballymena. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Crebilly.
Family and friends welcome to call at 37 Broughshane Road Thursday 31st July and Friday 1st August. Family time requested each day between 10pm-11am.

Beloved husband of Nuala. Devoted father to Ciara and Caolàn. Much loved brother of Margaret, Susan and Brian.

Acknowledgment for the late Mary Laverty R.I.P.

The family of the late Mary Laverty of 28 Deramore Crescent Ballymena, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family members, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited the house, attended the wake, funeral service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.
For those who telephoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks goes to all the staff and carers in Antrim Area Hospital, the district nurse and Marie Curie, who helped to care for Mary over her last few weeks.
We thank Canon Paddy McKenna for the eloquent celebration of Mary’s requiem mass and Carole Shivers and Sean Scullion for the beautiful singing and music. Also the Tullyglass House Hotel and all of the staff for their excellent food and service afterwards.
Our deep appreciation also goes to Declan Stephens and staff at Hasson Funeral Services for their professional and dignified management of the funeral arrangements.

As it is not possible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s appreciation to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Mary’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 6th June at 10am in All Saints Church, Ballymena. This mass will also celebrate the 10-year Anniversary of Mary’s late husband John Laverty. May they both Rest in Peace.
