It is with deep sadness that I share the news of the passing of Mrs. Beth Adger MBE, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim. She was an incredibly inspiring woman, and her love for children was evident to all who knew her. Mrs. Adger attended many S.M.A.R.T Minds events and truly valued the ethos of the organization. She had a special connection with the little ones, and her background in fostering was always clear in the warmth she exuded.
I know many of you had the privilege of speaking with her and attending events she was part of. Christmas was a particularly special time for some of the children, meeting her husband, Tommy, and son. We had such lovely moments together, and it was clear how deeply Mrs. Adger loved her children, family, and community.
To Tommy, the family, and friends, we offer our deepest condolences. May your beautiful memories bring you comfort during this incredibly difficult time.
