The Robin Hood Multi Academy Trust has some lovely (and free!) ideas for homeschooling parents. They’re called learning projects and they cover a range of curricular areas. I really like the Year 6/7 transition section.

Next week in our house, we’re going to try the phase 2 early years project ‘Around the world’, with learning activities on different flags and foods of the world.

With routines out of sync many of us are having difficulty getting over to sleep or waking up early at the minute– children too! The ‘Calm’ app includes a wide range of breathing exercises, music, meditations and stories aimed at promoting restful sleep. I particularly liked Stephen Fry reading ‘Blue Gold’ – a calming journey through the lavender fields and sleepy villages of Provence. The 'Calm Kids' section is also helpful - ‘Bella’s Bedtime Blanket’ is a popular one in our house.
