Y🪽 THE NERVE THAT CONTROLS YOUR SHOULDER BLADE

Have you ever noticed **your shoulder blade sticking out when pushing against a wall**?

For some people, this unusual movement may appear during activities such as:

• pushing objects
• lifting the arm forward
• doing push-ups
• raising the arm overhead

Sometimes the shoulder blade may appear **unstable or winged**.

🦴 THE ANATOMY

One nerve responsible for stabilizing the shoulder blade is the **Long Thoracic Nerve**.

This nerve travels along the side of the chest and supplies the **Serratus Anterior** muscle.

The serratus anterior connects the ribs to the **Scapula** (shoulder blade).

Its main role is to keep the scapula firmly positioned against the rib cage.

⚙️ THE BIOMECHANICS

During movements such as pushing or raising the arm, the serratus anterior helps rotate and stabilize the scapula.

This stabilization allows the shoulder joint to move efficiently.

If the long thoracic nerve becomes irritated or injured, the serratus anterior may weaken.

As a result, the shoulder blade may move abnormally and appear to stick outward.

⚠️ WHEN TO PAY ATTENTION

Changes in shoulder blade movement may indicate muscle weakness or nerve irritation.

Symptoms may include:

• shoulder blade protruding outward
• difficulty lifting the arm overhead
• weakness during pushing movements
• shoulder fatigue during activity

💡 THE TAKEAWAY

The long thoracic nerve plays an important role in controlling the serratus anterior muscle.

Proper function of this nerve helps keep the shoulder blade stable during arm movements.

When you meet someone, remember that, in a way, you have created them yourself.”

Every encounter in life is a reflection — of your energy, your choices, your path. Nothing is truly random; everything carries meaning, lesson, and connection ✨

Another way I recharge is taking a walk with my little dog in such beautiful weather… and the happiness triples when she meets her best friend and they have the sweetest playtime together 🐾🤍

Lovely people,

I’m looking for someone to join me at Roxy’s Kitchen.

Experience in catering/hospitality and a good level of English are required.

The role is mainly on weekends, so it’s ideal for someone looking to earn a bit extra.

Roxy’s Kitchen is a cosy place with homemade bakes and a friendly atmosphere, so I’m looking for someone who is engaged and enjoys working with people 🙂

If you’re interested, please send me a private message 📩

If your health were a choice, what would you pick for your next meal?

If I told you that your health depends on what you eat… would you believe me?

It’s not about strict diets or perfection.
It’s about the small, daily choices. About what’s on your plate today.

What are you putting on it? Energy or fatigue? Balance or excess?

Next time you eat, ask yourself something simple:
👉 “Is this helping me, or just satisfying a craving in the moment?”

Health isn’t built overnight.
It’s the sum of your choices, day by day.

Today I had the special pleasure of having in therapy one of those people you rarely meet in life ✨

A truly special person — warm, with a pure soul, and so kind 🤍
At the same time, someone carrying a depth of pain I have rarely encountered…

I believe this is the first case where it was so visibly clear, right after the massage, how much pain was stored in the body 😔

And yet, despite everything happening in her body, she remains positive, with a smile on her face and an attitude we could all learn from — even when life isn’t always easy 🌿

Thank you for your trust 🙏
Once again, I am truly grateful I had the chance to meet someone as kind as you 🤍
