Turner Opticians were proud to be part of which helps to raise funds and awareness for Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, RNIB can be there to offer their support for independent living and help create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss.
Every pound you help to raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
Community optometrists are an access point for RNIB Services and The BIG Spectacle Relay will not only help raise funds but will also leads to prevention and early detection.

Now is the time to get your children booked in for their eye examinations before going back to school.

All eye examinations are covered under the NHS and are free for children from as you as 2 year old and up to the age of 18 years old (in full time education).

There is also a repair/replacement voucher for children up to the age of 15 in full time education. Now is the time to check your child's spectacles to see if any repairs or replacement lens are needed before return to school.

Opening hours for the bank holiday weekend.

Wednesday 9th - 9am - 5.30pm
Thursday 10th - 9am - 5.30pm
Friday 11th - 9am - 5.30pm
Saturday 12th - Closed
Monday 14th - Closed

We will reopen on Tuesday as normal at 9am.

If you have any eye related emergencies when we are closed that cannot wait until tuesday please contact your nearest hospital emergency department.
