The family of the late Mrs O'Connell who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 13, 2025 would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement. We are especially grateful to our extended family, friends, neighbours and mum's Chapel, Church, Charismatic friends including each and every member of the wider community for their presence, kind words generosity and compassion. We would like to thank everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, emails, messages and telephoned. To St Mary's Primary School, Portglenone for their very fitting tribute and all other social media platforms we are indebted. To all those who sent flowers, brought food, attended the wake, committal and attended the funeral, we are truly appreciative.

Special thanks to Fr Joseph Rooney PP in leading and concelebrating the beautiful very dignified, very spiritual and personal Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Fr Tom McDonnell (Kiltegan Fathers) for his spiritual support and guidance in concelebrating the very prayerful Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Fr Dom Celsus OCSO for his presence in concelebrating and to everyone in the Monastic community and all the Priests who remembered our mum. We are indebted to Fr Dom Celsus (OCSO) and Fr Aeldred (OCSO) in allowing us the use of the Monastery Guest House for refreshments. Our sincere thanks to Michael Corey singer, (Moneymore) and Portglenone Parish Choir (Shauna, Colleen and Niamh) for the beautiful and uplifting music and instrumental which so enriched the Mass. John Cushnahan (Sacristan) and Care of Media Productions who streamed and recorded the Mass. The altar server Jack Brookman, the Parish Council, church volunteers and to the grave digger who prepared mum's grave.

Thank you to each and every member of Portglenone Health Centre staff, Community nurses, Dr Aicken, Dr McKelvey for their excellent medical care and very personal attention to mum. To everyone who contributed donations to the Vocation of St Joseph's Priests Society, and St Vincent de Paul we were overwhelmed.
