Before vs after treatment ✨
Subtle improvements in circulation, heaviness and appearance of superficial veins after treatment. Results vary person to person and often build gradually over multiple sessions.

Before April treatment ➡️ Before May treatment ✨
Not an overnight change, but gradual progress over a series of treatments.

These photos were both taken before treatment sessions around one month apart. Lighting and angles vary slightly, but there is visible change in the appearance of congestion, colour and heaviness through the lower legs and ankles over time. 🪡

Before ➡️ After ✨
One treatment only.

Lighting and shadows are slightly different between photos, but you can still see the change in the tongue body and coating clearly. The coating appears less thick and congested, with the tongue looking more balanced and settled overall after treatment. 🪡

Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the tongue as a reflection of what’s happening internally — digestion, stress, energy, fluids and circulation can all show through over time. Every treatment is tailored to the individual pattern presenting on the day.

Tired of heavy, cold legs or feet?
Noticing your veins becoming more visible — or feeling itchy?

This is what poor circulation can look like —
and it can be improved.

(Topical creams alone won’t fix the underlying flow 😉)

Traditional Chinese Medicine works by restoring proper circulation, not just masking symptoms. 🌿

Big update for my clients 🙌🏻

If you have private medical insurance (through work or personal), you may be able to claim back some or all of your acupuncture treatments 💫

I’m now a registered member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC) ✔️ — and many health insurers recognise AAC practitioners.

Traditional Chinese Medicine — including acupuncture — is a globally recognised medical system, practiced in hospitals and clinics worldwide (often alongside Western medicine).

While acupuncture is sometimes used within the NHS for certain conditions, full TCM treatment isn’t widely available — which is why many people choose to access it privately.

So when people say it’s “unofficial”… they’re simply misinformed.

It’s always worth checking your policy — you might be covered and not even realise it.

Any questions, just send me a message 🤍

Level 5 Cosmetic & Aesthetic Acupuncture complete 🪡

This works very differently to Botox or fillers — it focuses on strengthening the muscles, improving circulation and supporting long-term skin health.

Built on a foundation of full Traditional Chinese Medicine training, so it’s not just about the face — it’s about what’s happening underneath.

I’ll be bringing this into clinic soon 🤍

Why I Drink Warm Water ♨️🌤️💧✨

It sounds simple… but drinking warm water — especially in the morning or before meals — can have powerful benefits for your body.

Here’s why I recommend it to clients:

🌿 Supports Digestion
Helps break down food more efficiently, eases bloating, and can relieve constipation.

🌿 Gentle Detox Support
Encourages circulation and supports kidney function to help the body eliminate waste naturally.

🌿 Clears Congestion
Loosens mucus, soothes sore throats, and helps clear nasal passages.

🌿 Eases Pain & Cramps
Improves blood flow to muscles and joints — helpful for menstrual cramps, stiffness, and soreness.

🌿 Reduces Stress
Warm fluids can activate the parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest & digest” mode).

🌿 Improves Circulation
Heat causes vasodilation (blood vessels gently widen), supporting healthy blood flow.

🌿 Supports Hydration & Metabolism
Encourages better hydration habits and may gently stimulate metabolic activity.

💡 Try it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or sip throughout the day.

Simple habits. Big impact.

🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄

I’m officially closed until Friday 2nd January.
If you need me, I am still available — though replies may be a little slower as I’m attempting a phone detox over this period 📵

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
Thank you so much for keeping me so busy throughout the year, and for all the thoughtful gifts — they are very much appreciated 🤍

See you all in the New Year 🎊

(Yes, I probably should’ve used a nice photo of the treatment room… but my dogs are cuter — and they come to work every day too 😂)

Taking my own advice for once! 🛁✨

Here comes the ultimate foot soak: a dash of whiskey (to warm things up in this chilly weather), a splash of apple cider vinegar (to add a bit of yang and get that circulation going), and some rock salt (to give those kidneys a little tonic boost). 🌿💪

Why a foot soak? Because the kidney, liver, and spleen meridians start right at your feet, and this is a perfect way to keep them energized and happy. Pending relaxation mode… activated! 😉🦶
