JANUARY UPDATE
by Peter Rollins
'In January we received 95 voucher referrals which resulted in food being given out to 214 people. We gave out a total weight of 2217.84kgs of food (excluding fresh produce and toiletries which were also given out with each parcel). After the hectic Christmas period/month of December our usage figures have returned to average for this time of year.
As always, a massive 'thank you' to all our wonderful volunteers. Also thanks to Basil Knipe for the continued use of his premises. Thanks to both Tesco and Home Bargains who facilitate collection trolleys which continue to be greatly used. Thanks again to the local churches, schools, various organisations, businesses and individuals who continue to faithfully support us with donations. Many thanks also to those who continue to support Foodbank financially, in particular over the last few weeks. All of your donations and financial support enable Ballymoney Foodbank to continue it's work in our community.
If you are considering making a donation to Foodbank we are currently low in the following - jars of coffee, tins of custard, tins of rice and tinned meat
Thank you for your continued support of Ballymoney Foodbank.'
