It is with regret we announce the passing of:

Reid – Jasmine, 5th May 2026, peacefully, her devoted family by her side, late of Beechvale Nursing Home, Newtownards, formerly Springvale Road, Ballywalter. Beloved wife of the late George, deeply loved mother of Shirley, Stephen, Derek, Janice, Belinda and Julie, highly respected mother-in-law of Thomas, Heather, Jane, Daniel, Mark and Norman, dearly loved and cherished by her 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Committal will take place in Colebrooke Parish Churchyard, Fermanagh BT94 4DU on Monday 11th May 2026 at 12 noon. A Service of Thanksgiving for Jasmine’s life will be held on Tuesday 12th May 2026 in Ballywalter Presbyterian Church at 11.00 am, after which all are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments in the Church Hall. No flowers please by request. Donations in memory of Jasmine, if desired, may be made payable to NI Chest Heart & Stroke at www.adairfuneraldirectors.co.uk Jasmine will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her entire family circle.

Yeates - Fran (née Galloway), 1st May 2026, peacefully, at hospital, her loving family by her side, late of Barnagh Park, Donaghadee. Deeply loved wife of John, loving and devoted mum of Emma, Christopher and Jordan, cherished sister of Brian and the late George, highly respected sister-in-law of Valarie and a wonderful aunt, cousin and loyal friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving for Fran’s life will be held on Wednesday 13th May 2026 in Christ Church Carrowdore at 11.00 am followed by committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 12.40 pm. Attendees are welcome to wear casual dress and no black attire. House private. No flowers please by request. Daughter of the late Walter and Renee Fulton, cherished sister of Stanley, Ruth, Hazel, Stephen, Walter, Daniel and the late Christine and Jean, highly respected sister-in-law, adored aunt and great-aunt. Following a private family burial, a Service of Thanksgiving for Grace’s life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday 6th May 2026 in Cardy Gospel Hall. House strictly private. It is with regret we announce the passing of:

Hunter – Caroline (Carol), 24th April 2026, peacefully, at hospital, following a sudden short illness, her loving family by her side, late of Brookfield Drive, Ballywalter. Only child of the late Samuel and Caroline Patterson, beloved wife of the late Leslie, devoted mum of her three daughters Karen, Paula and Gillian, cherished nanny of her five grandchildren Craig (Laura), Gareth (Claire), Scott (Georgia), Carly and Thomas, doting great-nanny of Lilly, Hudson, Ellie, Aria, Grayson, Bobby, Mia and another little great-granddaughter soon to be born, a dear cousin and loyal friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving for Carol’s life will be held at 11.00 am on Thursday 30th April 2026 in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Ballywalter, followed by committal in Whitechurch Cemetery at 12 noon. Attendees are welcome to wear bright colours and everyone is warmly invited to join Carol’s family afterwards for refreshments in the Parochial Hall. House strictly private. Thanks & Acknowledgement

The family of the late Angela Girvan (née Irvine) wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

A special word of thanks to Rev Gareth Simpson for his prayerful support, words of comfort and conducting a meaningful funeral service.

To the ladies of Ballywalter PW for the organisation and serving of the refreshments to the attendees, their time was greatly appreciated.

The family are forever grateful to the staff at Ballywalter Health Centre, the local District Nursing team and the staff at the MacMillan Unit, Ulster Hospital, for their exemplary nursing and palliative care they provided to our mum throughout her treatment and attendances at her home.

The family also appreciate the dedication, care and compassion shown to Angela from the staff of Optimum Care during the years they cared for her.

Many thanks also to all the family, friends, neighbours who called, sent cards, telephoned, brought food and flowers and made donations to the MacMillan Unit and also sincere thanks to the team at Adair Funeral Directors for their professional service, guidance and support .
