Important info on hidden phones from Women's Aid Armagh Down

On Sunday 7 September 2025, the UK Government will be testing the Emergency Alert System, which sends loud alerts to mobile phones across the country.

If you have a hidden phone, it’s important to switch off these alerts, as they could reveal the phone’s existence.

We continue to have no internet, due to circumstances beyond our control. This means we continue to have no phone line or access to patient notes and services.

The engineers are working hard to try to restore our internet and phone lines.

Please only contact the surgery in an emergency. We appreciate your understanding.

If you do need to order a repeat prescription, please ring the usual surgery number BETWEEN 18.00-08.00 and leave a voicemail in the usual way. We hope to gain access to this via other means.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our practice is still without internet, this means we have no phone lines or access to any patient services or information.

Openreach are aware and are trying to reconnect us as soon as possible but they are unable to give us a timeline.

Please only contact the practice in an emergency. Consider use of other services; pharmacy first, minor injuries, if appropriate to your needs.

This is frustrating for us all. We appreciate your patience as we try to navigate this difficult situation.
