What a busy two days. A lot taken in, and a lot to digest and consolidate. Thankyou Carol for all the time and effort it must have taken you to put this all together. Homework has started in earnest!

Thank you lovely ladies for supporting my online workshop ‘An introduction to Nerve Reflexology’ over these past two days.
I think they would agree that it was a full on learning process with lots to take away and make room for in their brain.

Clinical reasoning at its best I think. Looking forward to checking in with you all again when you have mastered the practical elements.

I had a wonderful evening yesterday working with Sally kay. A group of us discussed more fully the hand reflexology lymph drainage format and use. There were practitioners from various countries attending and it was very interesting to hear about their work and happy clients.

We are finding RLD beneficial for lymphoedema, but naturally enough it helps improve lymph flow in may other situations too.

Post operative and post sports injury swelling (congested lymph) and many other inflammatory conditions are responding well.

Feet, feet, glorious feet.

Feet, feet, glorious feet,
What will they say when they suddenly meet?
Who are you left? and, Who are you right?
Are you bunged into shoes that are far, far to tight?
Do you suffer with rubbing, with blisters and more?
Do you ache, are you sad and always so sore?

Birth gave you such freedom to stretch out your toes,
What happened my dear? Only 'you' knows.
Look into your cupboard and pick up a shoe,
Any colour or fabric or heel height will do.
When put onto paper and drawn all around
you'll not see a foot shape there on the ground.
You'll be looking at fashion and style as you peep,
(Then you'll be squeezing them on as your feet start to weep).

Ouch say the toes as five become one,
That feels so nasty, just what has been done?
My head and my neck are giving me gyp,
It's just like a vice has me in it's grip.
I need to relax both body and mind,
to cherish my feet and to them be kind.
The answer to this lies strictly with me,
I'm booking again my reflex - ology.

At Greet the Feet you have the choice of a 'Lafuma' reclining chair (very comfortable,) or a reflexology couch where you lie flatter (with just your back, head and neck raised for comfort).
You remain clothed throughout, only removing your shoes and socks. A lightweight warm blanket adds to the comfort feeling for many clients.
I only use SONGBIRD NATIURAL reflexology waxes which are top quality. The various essential oils they use add a gently relaxing aroma. Non scented Songbird wax is also available.

Quotes often inspire me. Today we stopped and sat still at the lake in Hillsborough Castle Gardens. The sun was warm. There was a good breeze rippling the water and moving the leaves on the trees, as well as those on the ground. A simple moment in time........

As the recipient of a Churchill Fellowship some years ago I wish to encourage all friends and clients to look at the opportunities one can offer. LOOK NOW as the closing date for 2025/6 is soon!

The training with Sally Kay on RLD (Reflexology Lymph Drainage) has been amazing. A hugely beneficial help to many people with lymphoedema and many other issues.
