From September people aged 18+ with a severely weakened immune system will be eligible for the shingles vaccination.

Currently the vaccine is available to those who are :
➡️ aged 65 and 70 on 1 September
➡️ aged 18 and over with severely weakened immune system (sometimes known as severely immunosuppressed)

The Trust is currently experiencing significant issues with our IT systems which are having an impact on our services.
Ambulance diverts have been put in place whilst work continues to further investigate and resolve the issues.
We are prioritising emergency and critically ill patients at this time.
Any other patients should not come to their appointments at any hospital or community services today until further notice.
We ask that people avoid coming to our hospitals and other sites but visiting a patient is still possible.
Further updates will be provided in due course.

📱 We have been texting people today to invite them for their flu vaccine.

Over 1000 people have already booked an appointment for their vaccine through our booking link, sent via text!

✉️ Don’t worry if you aren’t signed up for our text messaging service, we will be inviting eligible patients for vaccination via letter.

If you would like to sign up for our mobile messaging service, please let our reception staff know.

We are delighted to have been nominated for the RCGPNI practice of the year award.

Each year, patients tell RCGP about how their surgery goes above and beyond to support them and their families, by providing outstanding levels of care.

Cervical screening can determine whether you have human papillomavirus (HPV) and changes in your cells that could go on to develop into cancer if left untreated. If you are aged between 25 and 64 it's important to book and attend for screening when invited.
