🚨 Help Needed This Saturday! 🚨

Northern Ireland Carriage Driving Association (NICDA) is looking for a few helping hands at the Danescroft Spring World Cup Style Event this Saturday at:

📍 Danescroft Equestrian Centre
Waterloo Road, Lisburn

If you have a few hours to spare, why not lend a hand and get involved? It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the day, meet friendly people, and see the excitement of horse driving trials up close.

If you’ve ever been curious about how carriage driving events work, this is an excellent chance to see behind the scenes and learn how it’s done.

🚨 Danescroft World Cup Trilogy Begins! 🚨

The Northern Ireland Carriage Driving Association is delighted to kick off the Danescroft World Cup Trilogy on Saturday 21st March 2026.

day will begin with a World Cup style morning, featuring cones and two obstacles driven twice (once for Gateway), followed by an afternoon dressage session using the usual 2025 tests for classes in an 80 x 40m arena.

Entries should be sent to Denise by close Tuesday 17th March 📞 07549868233.

Entry fee is £40 (£30 for juniors) with a £10 discount for a second entry from the same household. Stables can be booked directly with Danescroft if required.

⚠️ Hard hats and body protectors are required.

We hope to see a great turnout for the start of the trilogy! 🐎🏆

📢❗ Event Update - Christmas Lights Switch On ❗📢

We’re really sorry to announce that tonight’s Christmas Lights Switch On has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, the yellow weather warning means Santa’s sleigh has been officially grounded.

Apparently even Rudolph’s fog lights aren’t enough for this one, and the elves have refused to sign off on the flight plan. 🎅🛷💨

Safety first, for you and for Santa’s insurance premiums!

We’ll keep an eye on the weather and let you know as soon as we have an update or a new date.
