So, here we go, another year for us to all look forward to and this year means a big, big birthday for Dray's Eyecare. Can you believe that this is our 20th year, here on Chatsworth Drive. It really doesn't seem that long ago we opened our doors for the very first day, but thanks to all of you guys, we are still here all this time later. There's going to be some really positive changes over the coming months, that we will keep you all updated with, it's going to be an exciting year. Happy new year to you all and a massive thank you as always from Lee, Claire and the whole Dray's Eyecare team.

Last few days of opening before the annual Christmas break. As ever, thank you everybody for your support this year, you were amazing as always. Hello all, well it's been a while! You've all been keeping us so, so busy, that the time has come for us to have a little break. With this in mind we are slightly reducing our hours throughout August so that we can recharge our batteries. Take a look at the image so you all know when we are opening and closing. Have a lovely summer everyone......it's got to arrive soon, surely.

So, on 23rd May 2005, we opened our doors for the first time as Spectacles Direct, not knowing whether we would succeed in this venture or not. So much has changed in those nineteen years and we have grown into the established eyewear and eye care company that we all know today as Drays Eyecare.

As we move into our 20th year, we thank our lucky stars that so many of you have supported us, through having your eye tests with us, buying glasses or even just popping in for a chat, it really has been a privilege to be here for you. Myself and Claire would like to thank each and every one of you for being part of the Drays Eyecare family.

So.....12 years ago today, what we all know now as Dray's Eyecare was born. Leaving our original name of Spectacles Direct behind, we embarked on the mission to bring you all the best service, eye care and precision eyewear. It's been a massively great experience for myself, Claire and also Daniel and Nina who have been by our side through thick and thin. The main memories we have are helping all of you over these last 12 years as Dray's Eyecare, the amazing people of the Banbury community we have met and the way you have supported us over these years. Thank you to each and every one of you, you're all amazing.

So here we go, onwards into 2024, what will it bring to us all? we're hoping for lots of health and happiness, anything else is just a bonus. Not long to wait now as Dray's Eyecare re-opens on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at 9.00am and we're all ready, re-charged and waiting to see you all.

From all the Dray's Eyecare a team, a massive, huge, enormous thank you for all your support and a very, very happy new year....bring on 2024!

Really, can it be possible that 2023 has been and gone already? Well, it’s been a funny old year, lots and lots going on, unexpected babies for one!

Well, what’s instore for 2024? We will welcome Raychel back after her rather unexpected baby, Lucas this summer, we can’t wait to get her back. She will be coming back part-time, as let’s be honest she has her hands rather full now, but we’ve missed her cheery smile.

We’ve already got the new collection of frames, ready to unveil when our doors open on 2nd January and are offering lots of specialist and new lenses from Zeiss and other smaller British independent suppliers.

We’re really excited for 2024 and can’t wait to see you all in the coming weeks and months. As always thank you all for your unwavering support over the last year, you’re all amazing.
