Meet Kim from our Customer Care team!

Kim plays a vital role in making sure our customers get exactly what they need - from processing orders to providing the right materials and product information.

When we asked Kim to take part in this video, she was a little hesitant (it’s not every day you’re in front of a camera!), but as soon as filming began, she was an absolute natural.

We thoroughly enjoyed talking to such engaged young people, and look forward to seeing all the positive change we can enact in Banbury together.

This week, Year 10 and 11 students took part in an assembly with Cleenol, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing young people in Banbury. Students shared their ideas and thoughts on issues like attendance, work experience, and wider barriers, helping shape future support in the community. Cleenol have launched a Youth Voice Survey for young people aged 14-25 to capture their experiences and highlight what’s missing in Banbury. Together, insights from both professionals and young people will help guide future support and resource investment in our community. A big thank you to Cleenol for coming in to speak with us and congratulations to those students who received Amazon vouchers for their contributions!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome our local MP, Sean Woodcock, who officially opened our newly refurbished laboratory.

Earlier this year, we gave our lab a complete refresh by building a brand-new space enabling us to further develop and test our products to ensure we continue delivering the highest quality solutions for you.

Today is - a reminder that looking after our mental health is just as important as our physical health.

At Cleenol, we believe mental wellbeing should be supported every day, not just today. That’s why we have two qualified Mental Health First Aiders, Ceri and Amanda, who are trained to listen, offer support, and signpost help when it’s needed most.

For as long as we can remember, we’ve been proud supporters of Katharine House Hospice and the incredible work they do.

Last year, as part of our 75th anniversary celebrations, we donated £25,000 to KHH. Alongside this, we regularly provide vital cleaning supplies free of charge and our team also supports through volunteering.

Katharine House Hospice go above and beyond to care for people with life-limiting illnesses and to support their families. Their dedication is truly inspiring, and we’re honoured to play a small part in helping them continue their essential work. Thank you for the incredible work you do.

On Friday, we were delighted to attend the Cherwell Business Awards as finalists in two incredible categories: Large Business Award and Business Person of the Year.

It was a privilege to spend the evening alongside so many inspiring businesses from across Cherwell and to share Cleenol’s story. We hope our journey helps encourage others to champion values such as investing in people and our community.

This weekend we held our third Cleenol Summer Party, a chance for the team and their families to enjoy some time together outside the usual work setting.

It was a brilliant day filled with tasty food, a little bit of rain (in typical British fashion), plenty of laughs, and some questionable bungee pull skills... clearly still a work in progress! 😅

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the day and to all who came along, it’s always special to spend time together outside of work.
