We’re thrilled to launch The Sun Fund! A project bringing local businesses together to support Banbury’s youth community. From safe spaces to work experience opportunities, the fund is all about creating meaningful chances for young people to thrive.

We wanted to make sure we’re meeting real needs, so we ran two surveys. One for young people and one for those who work with them to hear directly what they want from the fund. Their feedback is helping shape everything we do!💡

Recently, we went to deliver the prizes to the winners of the survey at two schools, The Warriner School and Wykham Park Academy. We’re so excited to see the impact of everyone’s support! Thank you for your support, we can’t wait to drive this initiative forward and create positive opportunities for the Banbury youth community!💙

Throughout 2025, we’ve partnered with local schools and colleges to provide over 500 hours of work experience for students in our community.

While welcoming this many students might seem daunting, we’ve found it hugely rewarding - not just for the students, but for us as a business too. Supporting young people as they build confidence, skills, and real-world experience is something we feel strongly about.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re evolving our programme to focus even more on well-rounded, transferable skills that support students whatever path they choose.

We hope this inspires other businesses to get involved.
