The family of the late Fiona Ross would like to thank friends and neighbours for the many kind messages of sympathy received by way of cards, phone calls, visits, and support following their sad loss. They specifically wish to thank the staff at Allachburn Care Home, Aboyne, for their wonderful care and attention, special thanks to doctors at Aboyne Medical Practice and to the kind assistance of the community nurses. Thanks also to Kathleen MacIntosh for her kind and touching words at Fiona’s service, to Jack and his colleagues at Brian Smith Funeral Services for their care, compassion, and attention to detail, and to the Garlogie Inn for the lovely refreshments. Finally thank you to everyone who attended Baldarroch Crematorium to pay their final respects to Fiona and for generously donating to Allachburn Care Home which raised £1350.

Linda, Fiona and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy following the very sad loss of their Mum, Phyllis. Heartfelt thanks to all staff at Bellfield Care home for their care and compassion over the past 3 years, to Banchory Group Practice and more recently to the Community Nurses, Out of Hours Nurses and Paramedics. Sincere thanks to Rev Sharmann Maromo for his comforting and thoughtful service and to Aboyne-Dinnet Church Elders and organist who helped things run smoothly. Peacefully at Aboyne Hospital on Saturday, January 3, 2026, after a long illness, Stewart, loving husband to Morag, dear brother to Frances and Carolyne, uncle to his nephews and nieces and a friend to many. Service in Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes on Friday, February 6, at 1:00pm to which all friends and family are respectfully invited. Stewart was never one for formality, but he loved to wear a kilt. It would be great if attendees wore kilts or some tartan at the service.
