Why does the UK have one of the highest rates of food allergies? 🧐
Scientific evidence 🤓. In the vast majority, the healthy diversity of microbiome has been altered. 🦠
👉 In European (& other countries) GP’s use Homeopathy first line. We used to be better at this. Drugs second line.
Drugs which save lives (antibiotics) affect the microbiome, and the absorption of essential nutrients from our food ( antidepressants, PPI’s). 💊
👉Help is at hand. Here’s an example:
Woman with allergic skin rash, can’t touch wool (retailer), eat cheese (her favourite) or wear makeup without immediate red patches appearing on her face. Despite conventional/ dermatology route, daily antihistamines a customer thought she had cancer because of her appearance.
We use homeopathic preparations of bacteria to improve her microbiome, remedies based on her & her symptoms.
End of clinic last week she came in 😁. “I can wear makeup, customers keep commenting how good my skin looks, & the best thing is, when I go out I can eat anything off the menu!” 🧀 🎄
With recent scientific developments revolutionising our understanding of the importance of the microbiome in physical and mental health, I am genuinely excited that from January 2026 I will be be working alongside Dr Gregorio Torchia, leading Clinical Nutritionist in Edinburgh.
👉Clinics open, allocated Saturdays from January 2026.
Let’s make 2026 a great year for your health! 😀
