Today, some of my own writing, in this post about fear. EVERYONE has fear. That is not the point. The point is are you aware how much fear holds you back, how much fear controls your life? Fear is insidious and soaks into the very fabric of your everyday life. Be it fear of rejection, fear of making a mistake, fear of not being accepted for who you are, fear of not being good enough, fear of not being liked, not being loved, fear of your own potential. You can't conquer your own fear, that is just your unconscious mind (your ego) talking. Instead you need to relax and feel the fear in your body (which is not easy). Then can you accept that you have fear, can you acknowledge the fear inside of you. It is simple to do but not easy, as you are up against yourself. If you are able to manage this, then you will become aware of how some of your fear melts away, giving you more freedom.

The Child Within. ❤️

I am the child, pure and free,
With wide open eyes to the world I see.
I laugh, I dance, I sing with delight,
But shadows grew long in the dimming light.

They told me to hush, to quiet my voice,
They took from me the power of choice.
They passed their burdens, their pain, their fears,
And in my young heart, I carried their tears.

But now, I rise from that place of old,
A story rewritten, a tale retold.
For in their pain, I now understand,
They were just children, grasping for a hand.

I forgive them now, with eyes that see,
The chains of their pasts will no longer bind me.
I heal my wounds, I let them go,
In forgiveness, my light will grow.

The hurt they gave, it stops with me,
For I am the child, reborn and free.
I walk with wonder, my spirit restored,
A heart open wide, forever explored.

The past is a whisper, no longer my guide,
The child within walks tall with pride.
In love, in light, in peace, I stand,
An unbroken soul with an outstretched hand.
