The family are Heartbroken to announce the very sudden loss of Dinah at home on Saturday 20th December. Cherished wife of Iain, devoted mum to Tee-Jay, Bobby Jo, Seren Storm and the late Zayden Lee, precious daughter of Annie and Joe, much loved sister of Joseph, Peter and Victoria and a very dear sister in law, aunt and loyal friend to so many.
A Celebration of her life will be held in The Deveronside Club, Banff on Tuesday 20th January at 12 noon, thereafter to Myrus Cemetery. All friends and family are respectfully invited. No flowers please but donations may be given in memory of Dinah for Scottish Air Ambulance and Marion’s House. If possible, please wear a touch of purple, Dinah’s favourite colour 💜

Wife of the late Jack McQueen, loving mother and best friend to Anne, mother in law to Johnny, granny to Emma and John, proud great granny of Natalie, Cally -Jo & Erinn and a dear friend to many. Sandy’s family wouid like express their heartfelt thanks at the support they have received during this difficult time. The cards, messages, flowers and kind words have been of great comfort. Thanks also to AD Walker Funeral Directors, the staff at Moray Crematorium and the Station Hotel in Portsoy for the lovely buffet.
As Sandy requested, his ashes were laid to rest in a quiet and private setting with immediate family and his closest friends. We’d like to place a bench at the spot where people can sit and reflect and remember him.

Peacefully at home, with his devoted family by his side, after facing an illness with great courage and strength, on Sunday 4th January 2026, Peter, aged 63 years. Cherished husband of Bev; loving dad to Troy, Craig & Flora; dear father-in-law to Robyn and a significant other to Ben; very proud Granda to Breanna & Brooklyn; and a much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and respected by all his many friends.
Peter’s wish was to have a Celebration of his Life at the Fife Lodge Hotel, Banff on Monday 19th January at 10.30am to which all his friends and family are respectfully invited. This will be followed by a time of fellowship and food before the immediate family leaves for a private cremation. No flowers please but donations may be given to the charities Peter picked, Marie Curie, Macduff Medical Practice and District Nurses. He has also asked that you refrain from wearing black, colours would be appreciated.

Tricia, Esther and Katrina would like to thank all family and friends for their support during this difficult times, whether that be by cards, text messages or in person on the loss of their dad. Thanks especially to the staff at Wakefield House, Cullen for their unwavering care of dad throughout his stay and especially after the loss of his Jean. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Rev John Gow who provided so much support to us and who’s wonderful service described dad to a tee. To A D Walkers, Jane our gratitude is endless for your efficiency and compassion in taking care of dad. To Annie’s and Co for the fabulous tea’s provided and to Blathanna K for the most beautiful floral tributes. To Sandy Shearer for the touching music on the bagpipes and finally, thank you all for your generous donations to the Cinnamon Trust who enabled mam and dad to keep their dog when no longer able to walk her, by providing a dog walking volunteer and Wakefield House Confirt Fund that provides activities for the residents.

Beloved wife of Tony, much loved and loving mum of Susan and Charlie, dear mother in law to Steven and a proud granny of Abbie, Caitlin and Luke. Linda will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Bill’s family would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy, including the lovely messages, cards, callers and flowers received following Bill’s sudden passing.
Special thanks to the Reverend at Portsoy for conducting a comforting service, to the Portsoy Bowling Club for the lovely teas provided after the service, and to Flowers by Audrey and Two Buds for the beautiful floral arrangements.
Thanks also to all who paid their last respects and for the generous donations made in Bill’s memory to the Portsoy Green Fingers Group.

Rita's family and friends would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the cards, flowers, calls and visits following Rita's passing. It is a comfort to know that she was so well loved.
Thank you to Charlie and everyone at AD Walker for the compassionate and professional funeral arrangements and to Robin Wiseman for his lovely service.
