Iâve loved training for as long as I can remember.â£
â£
When I was about 10, I saw this Nike ad.â£
â£
â£
A young athlete was up before the world, training basketball in the dark. â£
â£
It was like 4am, everyone else was asleepâŠbut he was out there putting the work in.â£
â£
Something about that lit a fire in me and was so inspiring. â£
â£
Back then, I played a lot of football. â£
â£
After seeing that advert, I started getting up before school. â£
â£
Usually before 6am, to train. â£
â£
Constantly practising my skills, controlling the ball, step overs etc. â£
â£
In the winter, Iâd balance a little light on a bin just so I could see the ball in the dark.â£
â£
It was tough, most mornings I didnât want to get up. â£
â£
It was always tempting to just hit snooze and go back to sleep. â£
â£
Thatâs one of my strongest childhood memories: not the games, not the goalsâŠthe training. â£
â£
The mornings where I did the work even when I didnât feel like it.â£
â£
Thatâs where I first built self-respect and discipline.â£
â£
Over the last few years, Iâve rediscovered that feeling in a big way. â£
â£
Setting goals that scare me a little. Training for things that force the best out of me.â£
â£
Because when you show up, day after day, and do what you said youâd doâŠâ£
â£
â£
Thatâs when you start becoming the person you knew deep down you could be.â£
â£
Training isnât just exercise for me, itâs a way of life.â£
â£
â£
Itâs why I created The Infinite Project.â£
â£
This isnât a game you ever âcomplete.ââ£
â£
â£
Thereâs always another level. Always more growth. Always more potential.â£
