BACKGROUND
The company was founded in 1810, as an import/ export company and by the 1920s specializing on fuel distribution. In 1939, the company’s specialist knowledge of fuel pumps was used to develop bilge pumps for the war effort, which were also fitted as standard on UK fishing fleets in the 1940s and 50s. This pump technology was the foundation for our bilge, freshwater and waste pump ranges today. In the 1960s and 70s the company branched out into the leisure marine and caravan markets, and by the 1990s had established a global distribution network. Having acquired several complimentary companies, Whale offers a broad product range manufactured mainly in their production facility in Bangor, Northern Ireland. CORE MARKETS

Over the last 8 years, the company has built a reputation for innovation with a stream of new products in all markets. Some examples include wireless touch screen control panels for heating systems, unique Twist deck shower with unique handset controlling water flow and temperature. Our in house software team have also developed intelligently controlled pump systems- where accessories send signals to the pump and automatically turn on without user intervention.
