Bring structure. Create impact.

We’re hiring a Practice & Operations Manager (Part-Time) at Insula Wellbeing.

As we grow, we need someone who can bring clarity and consistency to how we operate — supporting the day-to-day running of the practice while strengthening the systems behind it.

This is a central role in the organisation. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to improve processes, streamline workflows, and make sure our clinicians are fully supported to deliver high-quality, client-focused care.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Keeping operations running smoothly
• Developing and improving systems and processes
• Managing data and turning it into meaningful insight
• Supporting financial admin and reporting
• Coordinating team activity and maintaining accountability

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is highly organised and detail-focused
• Has strong Excel and data skills
• Is comfortable using CRM systems
• Can manage competing priorities in a growing business
• Takes initiative and finds solutions

Experience in healthcare/wellbeing, compliance (ISO), or finance is a bonus — but not essential.

Why join us?
• Be part of a purpose-driven wellbeing business
• Play a key role in shaping how we operate
• Supportive, collaborative team
• Flexible, part-time hours (25–30 per week)
• £33–38k (pro rata)

If you like bringing order to complexity and want your work to actually make a difference, this could be a great fit.

As we come to the end of our April personal challenges at Insula Well-being, I’m really pleased to say I completed mine 🌱
I set myself the goal of doing 30 days of Duolingo to learn Swedish—and I did it! 🇸🇪👏
Having a clear time frame definitely helped me stay focused, but what made the biggest difference was the sense of team spirit. Knowing others were taking part, along with the encouragement and accountability from the group, kept me going on the days it felt harder.
It’s reminded me that building new habits isn’t just about motivation—it’s about support, structure, and consistency.

Made it to the end of the month of our personal challenges! Getting over the door is probably the hardest bit!

Hello from Kerry at the end of our April challenge.
There’s something about a little challenge that gives you the perfect jump start.
Today it got me out into the sunshine, down at the allotment, hands in the soil and mind finally switching off. Sometimes all you need is that small push to remind you how good it feels to be outside, making something grow.
But the real benefit is in keeping the challenge going. Showing up again tomorrow, and the day after — even when it would be easier not to — is where the difference happens. That consistency turns a simple nudge into a habit, and a habit into something that genuinely lifts your day.
Even better was the company — Mungo and Rua by my side, keeping watch, chasing shadows, and making sure no quiet moment stayed too quiet
Fresh air, a bit of effort, and good companions… and a challenge worth sticking to, like any change; it starts with that first step. Is it time for you now?

April is nearly over, and so is my personal challenge 👟
I set myself a simple goal this month: a one-mile walk at lunchtime.
Some days it felt easy. Other days, it honestly felt like a cost, like I didn’t have the time or should be doing more of my own work.
But here’s what I’ve noticed…
I come back with more energy.
My head feels clearer.
The afternoon feels lighter.
And yes, sometimes I even get more done.
We often say we don’t have time, but the bigger picture matters. It’s not just about immediate comfort or quick wins (although don’t knock these either) it’s about our longer-term wellbeing.
Quick fixes can feel good in the moment, but they don’t always last. Real change is usually slower, steadier, and built on habits we can actually stick with.
This challenge has reminded me that it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being consistent enough to keep going. Now I am thinking how can I apply this to my eating habits?!
What’s one small habit that helps you reset during your day? 🌿

DECLUTTERING UPDATE 🚨

Today’s mission involved pulling everything out before organising it… which means the house currently looks worse than when I started 😅

But sometimes that’s how progress works.

You have to empty things out, sort through the chaos, decide what stays, what goes, and what no longer serves you.

Honestly… it reminded me a bit of therapy.

Sometimes life can feel messier before it feels better.
Things get stirred up before they settle.
But that doesn’t mean it’s going wrong—it often means change is happening.

So today’s lesson:

Trust the process… even when it currently looks like this 😂

Lights, camera... slight awkwardness at first 🎥😅

Today at Insula Wellbeing we are behind the scenes doing some filming, capturing more of the work, heart and conversations that sit at the centre of what we do.

There is always plenty that people see in the finished piece, but not always the laughter, retakes and teamwork that happen in the background to bring it together.

Here is a little glimpse behind the scenes at Insula Wellbeing — where meaningful work sometimes comes with a few outtakes too.
