👟 Check if the shoe fits 👞

⚡️ Love this as it is so simple ⚡️

Sometimes shoes can cause a problem, but if the size and fit is wrong, you can be sure they can make the problem worse.

If in doubt try this:

⚡️ Stand on an A4 page and draw round your foot (ask a family member or friend to help if needed)

⚡️Remove the insole from your shoe (ONLY if removable) overlay this on your foot print.

⚡️ The foot print should fit INSIDE the shoe insole outline.

⚡️ Great to check for growth in children or to check elderly friends/family.

This foot/shoe print was a lady complaining of corns and painful bunions on the site coloured in red.

💊 Let’s talk Vitamin Supplements 💊

I absolutely LOVE these from
I hate swallowing tablets but also I feel the biggest benefits of this form and brand are:

1️⃣ Enhanced absorption and bioavailability as it skips the stomach.

2️⃣ Reduced gastrointestinal side effects. I’ve had zero with the iron. TMI but on other formats and brands I just had to stop taking them at times.

With the cold snap upon us let’s talk about Chilblains. Here are our top tips from podiatrists!

⚡️ 3 WAYS TO PREVENT CHILBLAINS ⚡️

1️⃣ Keep feet warm but NOT hot – layer thin socks instead of one thick pair
2️⃣ Avoid sudden temperature changes (don’t jump straight from cold outdoors to a hot bath!)
3️⃣ Moisturise daily – dry skin cracks more easily in the cold

⚡️ WAYS TO TREAT THEM ⚡️
1️⃣ Soothe with a chilblain cream or balm

2️⃣Keep moving – gentle walking improves circulation without rubbing the sore spots

3️⃣Add extra layers to your torso and remember your scary,hat and gloves when going outside.
