Welcome Sophie...👋

Sophie joined our team recently as our new Diversional Therapist and will organise and design activities that include physical, cognitive, emotional, and social engagement.

She has hit the ground running and is getting to know all our residents and is in the midst of organising a great activity program on the lead up to Christmas 🎄☃️

Today at Bryansburn we had our church service with Reverend Billy Gray. He prays and shares a word and knows how to get us all smiling and our feet tapping as we sing along to a few beautiful old hymns. 🎶

Broadband and Phone Outages for Vodafone Services ☎️ 🖥

There is a national incident which is impacting our broadband and phone connections. Our partners are working to restore service. Most connections will come back on automatically we are told.

We hope the fault is resolved soon.....

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day recognised globally to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote the importance of emotional wellbeing in all aspects of life.

At Burnview Healthcare we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health and we understand life can be challenging at times which is why we want to reach out to remind you that you’re not alone.

As a team we are always here to listen and support however we understand that not all our team feel comfortable talking openly about their mental health and for this reason we have emailed all our team to share details of our Employee Assistance Programme in partnership with Westfield Health.

The EAP offers confidential advice to all employees and their immediate family members and includes:

💜 24/7 access to licensed counsellors
💚 Support for stress, anxiety, depression, or grief
💜 Help with financial or legal concerns

We have a small break out area set up today for our team to relax have a cuppa and a treat and most importantly have a chat, as talking is so important 💜💚
