Our Carol-Themed celebrations are hitting all the right notes as our residents and staff embrace the magic of the season!

🎨 At Fairways Newydd, everyone has been getting into the spirit with creative arts and crafts and lively games of bingo.
🎤 The talented Dream weavers gave a spectacular performance that truly brought the home to life with music.
☕ Social café afternoons provided the perfect setting for festive treats and warm conversation.
🌲 A wonderful trip to Fron Goch Garden Centre was a highlight, where residents enjoyed soaking up the beautiful seasonal displays.

🎄🎶 Christmas Activities at Ceris Newydd & Glyn Menai 🎶🎄

The festive season has been full of joy and togetherness at Ceris Newydd and Glyn Menai, with residents enjoying a wonderful Christmas carol-themed activity.

Residents were delighted to attend a Carol Service with a local choir, filling the homes with the beautiful sounds of traditional Christmas carols and festive harmony. 🎶✨The celebrations were made extra special with Christmas carols performed by the much-loved residential band, “Three’s a Crowd.”

At Ceris Newydd, the Christmas party have been in full swing, complete with crackers, party hats, mince pies, and plenty of laughter.

Our Carol-Themed Christmas celebrations continue into Week 2, inspired by the uplifting and much-loved carol “Joy to the World.” This week is all about spreading happiness, colour, kindness, and festive smiles across our homes.

At Eryl Fryn, residents and colleagues marked the occasion with a joyful Christmas Jumper Day, filling the home with laughter, festive fashion, and plenty of cheer. Thanks to everyone who took part, £25 was raised for Save the Children, helping to support children and families who need it most this Christmas. ❤️✨

This year, Fairways is celebrating the festivities through music, creativity and festive stories inspired by classic Christmas Carols.

🎀 Throughout December, Fairways will donate £1 for every LIKE and £2 for every SHARE on our festive posts to support Age UK and Dementia UK, helping bring warmth, connection, and care to older adults and families across the UK.

🎶 Week 1 is inspired by Deck the Halls, and residents at Eryl Fryn have been embracing the festive spirit with a joyful Christmas card-making session. They designed beautiful handmade cards ready to spread Christmas cheer. ❤️🎨

From the very first minute I walked through the door I knew this was going to be a great place for my mum to spend what time she has remaining. My mum's room is very clean and tidy as is the rest of the home. The staff here are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They have made my mum and myself feel very welcome. They have activities most days including bingo and quizzes. I would highly recommend Stansty House if you need a caring team to look after your loved ones.”

Halloween Celebrations 🎃👻

Our team and residents at Fairways Newydd Care Home got into the spooky spirit this Halloween with staff dressed up in fabulous costumes, and they looked absolutely amazing.

The fun continued in the afternoon with lively entertainment, where our residents enjoyed singing, dancing, and soaking in the festive atmosphere.
