🌍🍽️ A Continental Feast & Oktoberfest Fun at Eryl Fryn 🎉🍂

It’s been a week full of flavour and festivity here at Eryl Fryn. Residents enjoyed a mouth-watering tour of European cuisine. The day began with warm croissants alongside tea and coffee, followed by a delicious selection of pizzas, garlic bread and traditional paella. Dessert was a treat in itself, with gateaux and apple pie. In the afternoon, everyone indulged in delightful Danish pastries to round off the experience!

Adding to the celebrations, residents and staff came together to mark the harvest season with an Oktoberfest celebration. With cheerful decorations, good company, and seasonal treats, the atmosphere was filled with fun, togetherness, and an autumn spirit.

Eryl Fryn Fest & Beach Party 🏖️

Our residents enjoyed a true seaside experience at home with burgers, chips, hot dogs, games, sand, and even a paddling pool. The laughter and smiles reminded us that sometimes the simplest moments bring the greatest joy. 💛

Open Day 🎉🎶

Ceris Newydd and Glyn Menai - Fairways Care hosted an Open Day, inviting families, friends, and the community for a fun-filled afternoon with :
🌭 Food, Bakes and Drinks
🎯 Classic fairground games
🎸 And an unforgettable live concert by the Copper Rockers
🏡 We also welcomed visitors to tour our care home and see the warmth, comfort, and quality of life we offer to our residents.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and show what makes our care so special💙

Mad Hatter's Tea Party Magic 🎩🐇🫖

Residents and staff at Eryl Fryn had an absolutely amazing time celebrating Alice in Wonderland at our whimsical Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

From the Queen of Hearts to the Cheshire Cat, everyone joined in the fun with themed costumes, tea-time treats, and cheerful music that had us all on our feet

Llandudno has a special connection to Alice in Wonderland — the real Alice used to holiday here, and the town now features a magical trail of sculptures and sites that bring Lewis Carroll’s world to life. 📸💕

🌍 International Culture Day at Eryl Fryn 🌍

At Eryl Fryn, we celebrated International Culture Day with a colourful journey around the world, right from the comfort of our home 🇮🇳 🇮🇹 🇯🇵 🇲🇽

Residents enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious dishes from different countries, prepared with love by our wonderful team.

To add a fun and educational twist, residents played ‘Guess the Flag’, where residents had to match the flag to the country our staff members are from. It sparked great conversations, laughter, and lots of learning.

Celebrating diversity and togetherness is at the heart of what we do. A big thank you to our incredible staff for cheering up our residents with such thoughtful and unique activities💛

Our residents at Ceris Newydd and Glyn Menai - Fairways Care were treated to a classic sing-along with Dave & Mabel, featuring all the beloved World War II songs 🎶🎤

At Eryl Fryn, they marked the occasion with a delightful cheese and wine afternoon, lively bingo, and a fun-filled Royal Family quiz, tying in both VE Day and Coronation celebrations. 👑🧀🍷

Our VE Day brought history to life, honour the past, and created special memories for our residents and team. ❤️
