17th August 2025. Peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, of Llwyn, Talybont, near Barmouth aged 93 years. Beloved wife to the late Emyr, much loved mother to Lynne and Hywel, mother in law to Karen and the late Graham, proud Naini to Catherine and Alice, and a faithful sister to Tommy and the late Eleanor.
She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
A public funeral service will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Friday 12th September at 2.30pm.

Happy birthday to the relentless driving force of Enfys, our lovely Manon. Both Manny and I will admit we're very different people, but I like to think we complement each other perfectly.

Some days are hard, but when I say Enfys wouldn't be where it is today without Manny, it's not even funny how true that is and I appreciate you every day.

John Hopkins
of Ambrose St, Bangor, passed away at Ysbyty Gwynedd on 17th June 2025 aged 76 years.
Lover of real ale, pubs and all things Bangor.
John's funeral service will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Wednesday 30th July 2025 at 12noon.
Donations will be gratefully received in lieu of flowers towards Bowel Cancer UK.

A beautiful rainbow view from this morning after the heatwave weekend.
We promised some changes, and today was a big step. This morning, we welcomed our two lovely new team members into the office for their first induction session. We look forward to introducing them to you soon.

Lots of exciting changes are happening over at Enfys HQ at the moment, that coupled with illness, loss and generally being busy means that we have been rubbish at all the social media stuff. It's tough trying to catch it everywhere isn't it?
Well, watch this space because we'll have some lovely bits to share with you over the next few weeks.
In the meantime, here is a photo of a rainbow on my way home, I had to pull over to take a photo because it was so bright and beautiful!

Wel, cadwch lygad allan am ypdets, mae gennym lot o betha lyfli i rhannu dros yr wythnosau nesaf.
Yn y cyfamser, dyma lun o enfys ar fy ffordd adref, roedd rhaid i mi stopio i dynnu llun oherwydd fod o mor lyfli!

Today marks one week since we said goodbye to our gorgeous pooch.
I couldn't ever have imagined the huge impact loosing him would have on me and those around me.
I've lost my furry shadow, my sofa snuggler, my office security and my faithful walking companion. I'm not sure I even remember who I am without him.
Our children have lost their best friend and our little house feels empty without him.
I'm sure that in time life will start to feel normal again, something new will fill the empty space where is bed used to be, I'll go on walks again without feeling guilty that he's not by my side and we'll be able to talk about him with a smile, but right now it all feels very tough.
I'm hoping that sharing our experience will help normalise the feelings that come with loosing a pet, something that is definitely not talked about enough, we are absolutely devastated.

Mae heddiw yn nodi wythnos ers i ni ffarwelio â'n ci bach hyfryd.
Fyddwn i byth wedi gallu dychmygu'r effaith enfawr y byddai ei golli yn ei gael arna i a'r rhai o'm cwmpas.
Rydw i wedi colli fy nghysgod blewog, fy soffa snygler, gwarchodwr ein swyddfa a fy nghymar cerdded ffyddlon.
Dwi ddim yn siŵr os ydw i hyd yn oed yn cofio pwy ydw i hebddo.
Mae ein plant wedi colli eu ffrind gorau ac mae ein tŷ bach yn teimlo'n wag hebddo.
Rydw i'n siŵr, ymhen amser, y bydd bywyd yn dechrau teimlo'n normal eto, bydd rhywbeth newydd yn llenwi'r lle gwag lle oedd ei wely'n arfer bod, byddaf yn mynd am dro eto heb deimlo'n euog nad ydi o wrth fy ochr a byddwn yn gallu siarad amdano gyda gwên, ond ar hyn o bryd mae'r cyfan yn teimlo'n anodd iawn.
Dwi'n gobeithio y bydd rhannu ein profiad yn helpu i normaleiddio'r teimladau sy'n dod gyda cholli anifail anwes, rhywbeth nad yw'n cael ei drafod ddigon, rydym wedi ein difrodi'n llwyr.

Barry Ellis
Suddenly at his home in Pentir on the 2nd June 2025, aged 76 years. Beloved husband of Moyra, treasured father of Tracey, Debbie and David, father-in-law to Col, James and Karen, proud Grandad to Nathan, Tara, Tyler, Libby, Callum and Gracie and Great-Grandad to Jac Rhys. He will be missed terribly by all who knew and loved him.

Barry's funeral service will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Friday 4th July at 2.30pm.

Lisa Kimpton
passed away suddenly at Liverpool Royal Hospital on Saturday 17th May 2025 aged 37 years.

Daughter Geoff and Ellen, loving sister of Vicky, Mark, Mari and Ryan, proud auntie of Rowen, Cassie, Maia, Eira, George and Louis, honorary sister of Amy and friend to many. Lisa will be missed terribly by all who knew her.

Lisa's funeral service will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Friday 6th June at 1.30pm. Lisa's family kindly request that those attending wear colour.

Michael Lee Threadgold of Tal Y Bont passed away on 12th May 2025 aged 32 years.

Son, grandson, nephew, cousin, godfather and loyal friend, he will be forever in our hearts.

Lee will be laid to rest during a private funeral service.

All are welcome to join his closest family and friends at Bangor Rugby Club, Llandygai, Bangor, LL57 4AA from 12.30pm on Thursday 5th June to remember Lee and to celebrate his life.
Informal dress, preferably not black.
