Bu farw Brian yn dawel ar 21 Ebrill 2026 yn 79 oed ac yna ei wraig ffyddlon Gill ar 3 Mai 2026 yn 78 oed.
Yn wreiddiol o Fethesda ac yna Llanbedrog ond yn fwy diweddar o Rhiwbeina, Caerdydd.
Rhieni cariadus ac addfwyn Rhys a Nia, nain a thaid balch Gethin, Buddug, Guto, Deio a Twm a rhieni yng nghyfraith arbennig Gerallt a Judith. Bydd colled enfawr ar eu hôl gan deulu a ffrindiau oll.
Cynhelir gwasanaeth cyhoeddus ar y cyd, ddydd Gwener 29 Mai am 11 a.m. yn Amlosgfa Bangor.
Blodau'r teulu'n unig, ond derbynnir rhoddion yn ddiolchgar er cof am Brian a Gill tuag at Gymdeithas Alzheimer's Cymru (sieciau'n daladwy i Angladdau Enfys Funerals Ltd - Cyfrif Rhoddion).

Brian passed away peacefully on 21 April 2026 aged 79, followed by his faithful wife Gill on 3 May 2026 aged 78.
Originally of Bethesda then Llanbedrog, but more recently of Rhiwbina, Cardiff.
Loving parents of Rhys and Nia, proud nain and taid of Gethin, Buddug, Guto, Deio and Twm and dear parents in law to Gerallt and Judith.
They will be missed terribly by all their family and friends.
A joint public service will be held on Friday 29th May at 11am at Bangor Crematorium.
Family flowers only, but donations gratefully received in memory of Brian and Gill towards Alzheimer's Society Cymru (please make cheques payable to Angladdau Enfys Funerals Ltd - Donations account).

Sometimes we feel deflated, but never for long!
Hopefully these lovely baskets will last longer than a day this time.
Repaired, replanted and put back up again today with the help of Tracey (and Rob, I was too short to put up the second one).
It might seem daft to keep putting up hanging baskets for them to be continually damaged, but, we choose to keep being ourselves and not to let the daft actions of the minority affect what we do.

BTW, doesn't the Computer MOT Centre look great after it's fresh coat of paint at the weekend?

I wouldn't share a post like this usually but I can't help myself today.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am to be told this morning that once again over the weekend someone has pulled down one of the hanging baskets that I had only just refilled and put up the day before.
This is now the third time that our hanging baskets have been destroyed.
As we always do we'll fix the basket and put it back up, but I'm gutted that once again someone has caused damage for the sake of making their mates laugh on a Saturday night.
These baskets I was particularly proud of because it's the first time I had chosen the plants and planted them myself, I spent about 3 hours on Friday carefully selecting plants and getting them ready to be put up.

Is it any surprise that Bangor High Street is suffering with business closure and losses at the moment when this is how the properties people have worked tirelessly to maintain are treated?
Gutted!

Fedra i ddim dweud wrthych chi pa mor siomedig ydw i o glywed y bore yma fod rhywun unwaith eto dros y penwythnos wedi tynnu i lawr un o'r basgedi crog roeddwn i newydd eu hail-lenwi a'u rhoi i fyny'r diwrnod cynt.
Dyma'r drydedd tro i'n basgedi crog gael eu dinistrio.
Fel rydyn ni bob amser yn gwneud, byddwn ni'n trwsio'r fasged ac yn ei rhoi yn ôl i fyny, ond rydw i wedi fy nigio bod rhywun unwaith eto wedi achosi difrod er mwyn gwneud i'w ffrindiau chwerthin ar nos Sadwrn.
Roeddwn i'n arbennig o falch o'r basgedi yma oherwydd dyma'r tro cyntaf i mi ddewis y planhigion a'u plannu fy hun, treuliais tua 3 awr ddydd Gwener yn dewis planhigion yn ofalus ac yn eu paratoi i'w rhoi i fyny.
A yw'n syndod bod Stryd Fawr Bangor yn dioddef o gau busnesau ar hyn o bryd pan mae'r eiddo y mae pobl wedi gweithio'n ddiflino i'w cynnal yn cael eu trin fel hyn?

Ever wondered what happens to funeral flowers after a cremation unless you make a plan for them?
Leave them at the Crematorium? They'll more than likely end up in the bin in a few days, or will be eaten by the rabbits.
How about making a plan before the funeral to reuse them in a different way?
Here are just two examples of recent funeral flowers that have continued to share their beauty after the funeral.

1. Three small hand tied bouquets, laid together and tied with a large hessian bow (now showed in the image) on top of the coffin. After the funeral they were separated and placed in vases around the home, still looking beautiful over a week later. These lovely flowers were our homegrown ones, put together as always by the lovely Tracey.

2. An incredible, ornate coffin spray, carefully created to the family's specific instructions by for a lady who was a florist herself for most of her life. After the funeral these flowers were returned to Rachael to be transformed into six lovely table displays which were gifted to friends, family, and even to us.

Can you think of another way funeral flowers could be reused after the funeral?

This was filmed ages ago but social media is often on the bottom of our list of things to do as it's definately the least interesting job.
We are now well over 4 years old but the rest is still relevant so here you go!

Is there anything more satisfying than a little office glow up?
After a few years with our lovely scaffolding table we thought it was time for a change, and our office looks so much bigger!
The old table has made itself at home in our new building in Bethesda.

Ar ôl ychydig flynyddoedd gyda'n bwrdd sgaffaldiau lyfli, roedden ni'n meddwl ei bod hi'n amser i newid pethau, ac mae ein swyddfa'n edrych cymaint yn fwy rwan!
Mae'r hen fwrdd wedi ffeindio cartref newydd yn ein adeilad newydd ym Methesda.

Do you know we offer a grave tending and care service?
We've been quietly tidying and caring for graves in the background for the last few years but have never actually shared that we do it!
We can even offer homegrown seasonal flowers for those who can't visit to place flowers themselves.
If maintenence is needed on the stonework we can reccomend a lovely chap to help with that too.

I just love how our beautiful memorial tree comes to life in the sunshine! Three years on and it still looks perfect, all thanks to .signs and his incredible skills.

Brenda Nicholson
of Nantmor, Beddgelert passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on 29th March 2026, aged 92 years.

Loving wife of the late Brian, devoted mother of Helen, fond mother-in-law of John, proud grandmother of Christopher and Isabelle.
Brenda will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at Bangor Crematorium at 1.30pm on Friday 24th April.

Bob dydd yr wythnos yma am 13:45pm, bydd y "Last Word" yn trafod marwolaeth ac angladdau ar Radio 4. Dim ond 15 munud o hyd yw'r rhaglen bob dydd ac mae'n ymdrin â "newid agweddau at farw, marwolaeth a sut rydym yn coffáu ein meirw". Yn sicr yn werth gwrando.

Every day this week at 13:45pm, the Last Word will be discussing death & funerals on Radio 4. The programme is only 15 minutes long each day and covers "changing attitudes to dying, death and how we memorialise our dead". Certainly worth a listen.
