Another fun-filled day with Geraldine from C21 today 🥰
We chatted about the schools everyone went to and, if they could go back, what they’d change.
We also looked at old games – turns out I’m a yo-yo pro 🤣 and the skipping skills were on another level!

Today marked the start of another six wonderful weeks with the amazing and very talented Geraldine Gallagher, working alongside the fantastic C21 Theatre Group.
We began the session with old-time music, from Jim Reeves to Val Doonican. Feet were tapping, hands were clapping, and smiles filled the room. Music really is the best medicine.
We explored memories through familiar objects too – old cigarette tins, ashtrays, and then out came the good old splash-on aftershave and perfume. Those scents instantly transported everyone back in time.
Listening to their lives and their stories, and allowing them the space to reflect on their own memories through these objects, brings back so many precious moments.
For some, memories are all they have – and moments like these truly matter.

Geraldine is truly an incredible teacher — her knowledge is on another level. I’m so grateful that she sees the potential in me and for the faith and trust she has shown. It genuinely means more than words can say. 💛 Thank you

Goodbye to 2025 🥂
This evening at Bramblewood, we came together to welcome in the New Year with the wonderful father and son duo, Jonathan and Daniel, whose traditional bagpipes filled the home with warmth, memories and magic.
2025… what a year it has been. Busy, yes — but filled with so much love, laughter and joy. Seeing the year out with our residents, sharing a wee glass of wine and some party food, listening to the sound of the pipes, and most importantly seeing the smiles on their faces — those moments are what make it all so special.
Those smiles, the laughter, the togetherness — that’s what Bramblewood is all about. Creating memories, sharing love and making every moment count.
Here’s to another year of fun, love, laughter and even more beautiful memories.
