Well it’s come to that time……at last!!!
We are back in the studio from tomorrow.. Evening classes (at 1845) start 6th October and afternoon classes (2pm) start 13th October
Obviously because of the current pandemic still ongoing there have to be safety measures put in place.
Luckily the studio is quite large so it is possible for us all to make sure our mats are 2m apart so we can safely social distance.
It will not be possible to share equipment so we will all need to bring our own mats, blankets and eye masks. For anyone who borrowed any of these from me at the start of lockdown, these are now yours and do not need to be returned. For anyone who doesn’t have any of these (especially eye masks as they are more difficult to get hold of) please let me know and I can source these for you.
I will also have Zoom on so that anyone who is shielding or who doesn’t want to come to the studio can still join us remotely. If this is the case, let me know and I will send you payment details and a password so that you can access the class. This is also the case if you prefer not to handle cash - I don’t have a card reader but can send you BACS details if you prefer a cashless system.
I will also be recording the classes so that if you wish to practice again during the week or are unable to attend class at the time I am running them, you will be able to access the class at your convenience.
The staff at the Community Hub have their own safety measures in place. It is my understanding that the kitchens will be closed so please bring your own water as I don’t think we will be able to access the kitchen taps. The guidance they have issued is below -
• Please do not come to any Council facilities if you are unwell (symptoms including shortness of breath, a new persistent cough, sore throat, or fever (temperature above 38˚C)).
* Keep your hands clean, wash regularly and thoroughly, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water
* Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch all coughs and sneezes and then bin the tissue – then wash your hands with soap and water, or use a sanitiser
I know this is a lot of information to bombard you with but any questions please feel free to contact me.
Looking forward to seeing you all 😀
