Recruiting ‘Experienced’ Care staff for a number of 24-hour complex care packages across South Anglesey and Arfon Region of Gwynedd.

Cymorth Llaw Ltd - North Wales' leading Domiciliary & Complex Care at home agency provides a range of services to a number of Individuals with complex care needs within North West Wales region of Gwynedd, Ynys Mon and Conwy.

We are a Family run Domiciliary care agency working across North West Wales. We have almost 25 years’ experience in providing high quality care and supporting staff in meeting and achieving their goals.

We are a family friendly, award-winning employer.

The Company is seeking ‘Experienced’ care staff to work between 7-hour and 12-hour day shifts and or Awaking nights.

Individuals care packages can range from either 1:1 or 2:1 staffing

- Part Time- or Full-time contracts are available and are able to offer hours that suit your needs
- Experienced candidates are preferable, NVQ / Diploma qualified, Moving and Handling manual handling passport trained very advantageous. Full training given including Induction, Support is also provided.
- Car driver would be preferable. However, non-drivers are welcome to apply as some care packages may be within reasonable distance from home.
- Staff paid full hourly rate for all training provided

£12.34 Per hour day rate (Monday to Sunday)
£122.10 paid per night (Sleep) 10pm – 8am
£138.80 paid per night (Awake) 10pm – 8am

We are recruiting additional staff for a variety of roles across North West Wales in areas including Bangor, Caernarfon, South Anglesey, Pwllheli, Criccieth, Porthmadog, Penrhyndudraeth and Blaenau Ffestiniog.

❗ Plans in place to support patients, staff and services over the coming days ❗


❄️ With severe weather forecast over the coming days we are advising people to keep themselves well and take extra care if travelling to hospital for an appointment.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow, ice, and cold conditions in North Wales from this evening into tomorrow morning. Some areas, especially higher ground, may see 5 to 20 cm of snow, icy roads, and travel disruption.

Our hospitals remain incredibly busy at this time as we continue to manage the usual winter demand placed on our services. Alongside this, we have faced additional pressures from seasonal infections and respiratory viruses, as well as the impact of the adverse weather that hit the region last weekend.

We ask people to check our Local Health Services information to ensure they access care and support at the most appropriate place if they need it. There are a range of services available to people, such as NHS 111 Wales, our minor injury units and pharmacies, that can be accessed qu**ky and without an appointment.

If you’re out and about over the next few days ensure you wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear as some pavements could be icy and increase the chances of slips and falls.

We would also encourage people to check on older people or those living alone. The cold weather increases the risk of hypothermia, especially amongst the elderly, as well as increasing the risk of injury such as slipping or falling in icy conditions.

Amber warnings issued for Storm Goretti ❄️

It is also expected to bring a spell of snow, rain and in places high winds with the largest snowfalls most likely to be across parts of North and Mid Wales.

The company is already putting in place its winter planning to deal with the what may come. We will keep staff and clients / families updated as best we can and ask for your patience and understanding during this time.

Please take care on the roads when travelling and please make sure if you are that you have provisions in place if facing difficulties travelling.
