Here at Hyfforddiant Menai Training, we teach First Aid in a friendly and easy-to-understand way, helping people build the skills and confidence to deal with emergencies.

We teach the Regulated, required content for FAW courses but our methods are very much practical and experienced led, so maybe slightly different to past courses you may have attended.

MEDICATION RECALL

Precautionary recall of antidepressant medication due to manufacturing error
The MHRA has advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying the affected batch of Sertraline 100mg and return all remaining stock to their suppliers.

Dr Alison Cave, MHRA Chief Safety Officer, said:

“If you have been prescribed Sertraline 100mg tablets and have received batch number V2500425, please check the carton contains the right medication. You can find the batch number and expiry date printed on the side of the outer packaging.

“If the blister strips inside the carton are labelled Citalopram 40mg, please contact your pharmacy as soon as possible. If they are labelled Sertraline 100mg, no further action is needed.”

The MHRA has advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying the affected batch of Sertraline 100mg and return all remaining stock to their suppliers.

We are all set up to teach a 12 Hour, full Paediatric First Aid Course' for our client at the location of their choice.

This course is a Legal Requirement for those working with infants and children in our schools and nurseries and meets the requirements of EYFS and CIW.

Teaching Paediatric First Aid effectively isn’t just about delivering information—it’s about building confidence and muscle memory so staff can act quickly under pressure. A mix of clear instruction, hands-on practice.

What do I see / hear? What do I do first?

Hands-on practice is essential.

People remember what they do, not just what they hear.
