KEEPING VIDEO GAMES HEALTHY DURING ISOLATION

Some helpful guidance from Care for the Family on how we can keep video games healthy for our children, along with some suggestions that the whole family can enjoy together.

Being at home more has inevitably led to more time in front of screens for both adults and children. Some of this is an intentional use of technology to stay in touch, but there is also an unintentional increase of inside leisure time for children which can mean more video games.

BUSINESSES RESPONDING WITH KINDNESS...

It's been amazing to see how many businesses across our town have been responding with deep kindness to the needs of our community and to those working on the frontline...and all the while working hard to keep going in the midst of a very difficult economic climate. Here's one such example from Sunflower Sandwich Company in Bangor, as they support those working in the NHS. Let's encourage our businesses, business owners and staff across the town, as they continue to work hard and show deep kindness day by day in all they are doing! How can we show some kindness to them to encourage them in these days?

Weʼre raising money to Provide free pack lunches for staff working in the NHS during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.
