Don’t wait for the “right time.” Just start.

This is something we all can struggle with, and as we almost reach halfway through the year part of me is beating myself up I didn’t hit the ground running in January or every Monday that approaches. But there is no right time to start.

A friend of mine was saying she reframes different part of the year to help her get started like the new financial year, a new season, even the new school year (although we both haven’t been in school for a long time!)

It’s all about mindset and a change of mindset can be so positive to get ourselves in motion - so what are you waiting for? 💚

Day to Day Wellbeing: 30 Minutes of Nothing

Turns out it’s actually one of the most productive things I’ve added into my routine.

No phone. No TV. No distractions. Just sitting, letting my mind slow down while I listen to calm music.

I’ll be honest… the first 10 minutes can feel really difficult. I get restless, my mind wanders, and I start thinking about everything I should be doing.

However , after about 15 minutes, it’s like a switch goes off… and I start to feel a sense of calmness. My brain settles, the noise quietens, it’s just lovely for a person with a busy mind.

When I do this a few times a week I find I have more headspace. Clearer thinking. Less mental overwhelm 💆🏻‍♀️

And I’ve noticed something — when I feel like I don’t have time to do it… that’s usually when I need it the most.

So if you do have the time, why not give it a try… giving your nervous system a chance to reset and regulate.

Thank you to for such a valuable ADHD training this morning 💜

As someone who supports families with children who have ADHD, works with adult clients, and is also exploring my own diagnosis… this really resonated.

It was genuinely eye-opening – not just professionally, but personally too. It helped me recognise that some of the areas I’ve found difficult over the years may actually be linked to ADHD… things I hadn’t even considered before.

What I loved most was how practical it was – real strategies, real-life examples, and tools that can actually be used day-to-day, not just theory.

ADHD is far more common than many people realise, and having a deeper understanding makes such a difference – for the individual, the family, and the people supporting them.

Would absolutely recommend this kind of training to practitioners and teachers

Mother’s Day can hold many emotions.

Today we celebrate the love, care, strength and support that mothers and mother figures bring into the world. Many would be lost without them 💛

But for others, this day can also be complicated — for those longing to become mothers, navigating difficult relationships, grieving a mother or a child, or not knowing their mother at all.

However today feels for you, your experience matters. Be gentle with yourself.

Sending appreciation to mothers, and compassion to everyone holding something heavy today. 🌷
