Many of my clients have been in touch as their skin is breaking out from wearing masks at work. For many of us, face masks have become an essential part of everyday life thanks to the coronavirus. But regularly wearing one can have an unfortunate side-effect: mask-induced acne, aka "maskne".

"Maskne is absolutely real. No questions asked," Dr Mona Gohara, Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine, told the BBC.

There are lots of ways to help your skin:
⭐️Cleanse skin properly twice a day, morning and night

⭐️Always pat your face dry with a towel after cleansing rather than rubbing
