Hope everyone’s settling into the new year. I personally don’t particularly like January! It’s cold, Christmas is over, it’s dark, it rained all day yesterday.. I’m already over it and very much looking forward to the summer ☀️
Just thought I’d share this pic which made my Christmas morning.. my little boy’s favourite present from Santa as it makes me smile so much.. A Pez dispenser with the sweeties in! Forget all the more expensive gifts, he didn’t put this one down!!

“School says they have never seen the behaviour there.”
Parents frequently tell us that their children cope well in school or with grandparents, but display completely different behaviour at home.
This is normal in children with anxiety, having held onto their anxious feelings all day, it’s natural that being around a safe person they love, allows them to let go. When we work with parents we look at strategies that enable parents to be reassuring and compassionate without accidentally allowing the anxiety to grow.

What a lovely way to enjoy Easter Weekend!
Finishing off the last session with such a lovely young lady who has made the biggest transformation in our 6 week sessions together.
I’ll be sad not to see her every week but I’m so proud of how committed she was to her programme and what a difference it made.
Well done - you were amazing!
