We’ve had a busy few days filled with laughter, music, and autumn charm. Our residents enjoyed a refreshing trip to soak up the great outdoors, admired a beautiful harvest display celebrating the season, and were treated to fantastic live entertainment from the talented singer, Charlie! 🎶✨

It’s been a very merry Monday here at Signature at Banstead! 🥳

Over the weekend, our residents got crafty making their own fabulous hats — ribbons, feathers, glitter, and all! 🎨✨ And today, we put those masterpieces to good use at our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!

There was laughter, plenty of tea, and some truly mad hat styles on display! 😄💐

🎨🕺 What a fabulous week at Signature of Banstead ! Our incredible Activities team has been keeping everyone busy with arts and crafts, gentle exercise, and lots of laughter. We wrapped up the week with a fantastic birthday party for Audrey, one of our lovely residents, and us all grooving to the twirling tunes of James Lin – The Funky Fiddler. 🥳🎻

Today, the Signature at Banstead community came together for the Macmillan Greatest Coffee Morning, and what a wonderful day it was!

There was so much laughter, plenty of cake, and a fun raffle – with prizes going to one of our lovely residents and a team member, too. 🎉

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised an amazing £268.50 for Macmillan, a charity that does such inspiring work supporting people and families affected by cancer. 💚

✨ This week our residents enjoyed a special presentation from the Activities team in honour of Agatha Christie’s birthday. 🕵️‍♀️📖

We learned so many fascinating things about the “Queen of Crime” – did you know she wrote 66 detective novels, over 150 short stories, and even used a secret pen name, Mary Westmacott? Her most beloved characters, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, are still famous around the world today 💜

🎭 We also discovered that her play The Mousetrap opened in London in 1952 and is still running in the West End – making it the longest-running play in the world!

It was a wonderful way to celebrate her life and legacy, and our residents loved stepping into her world of mystery and imagination. ✨🔍💜
