The idea for our company came about when we decided to buy our Autistic son (pictured above) a bubble tube, as he benefitted from bubble tubes as it helped him to de-sensitise and calm down when he felt anxious or was having a meltdown. However when we looked into this more, we realised that a free standing bubble tube would be a hazard, something he could easily pull over and cause a number of pr
oblems as his understanding is very limited, so the easy option of telling him not to touch was out of the question. We started looking online at what was out there to secure bubble tubes in place, but it all came with a shocking price tag. We looked into designs, and materials and made our son a bubble tube base that not only held his bubble tubes in place very securely, but he was able to sit and stand on it without knocking them over or damaging the tubes, it was perfect for us and it didn't break the bank!!! Whenever we would have friends round with or without Autistic children they would all go straight for the bubble tubes. Everybody all said how good and well made it was and how they wished they could afford one, and they were amazed when we told them we had made it ourselves. So we thought "Well, what if we make some more and try sell to them for a more reasonable price then what is currently on the market? Then hopefully the normal average family would be able to afford it and maybe if we get a regular demand for them then we would make a go of it"
If along the way it helps other children and their families cope with some of the issues of Autism and other aspects of disability in children then we felt we should do what we can to help.
