(Monday 28th July) We have had a great day, this morning we took a small group on a little trip to our monthly sing along sessions at Murrys in Bargoed which was thoroughly enjoyed, we sang to all the songs and some of us even had a little dance. Then when we returned we enjoyed group games of Simon says as well as attempted a new challenge with a simple piece of cardboard and ping pong balls, with those who tried saying it was definitely harder than it looked but fun. We have had a great day (Thursday 24th July) started the morning off with, A what am I quiz, alphabet letter soup, and Chinese whispers, which started with a whisper of the word bread and ended with banana's 😂 how that happened I'm unsure 😂 but it made us all laugh and smile which is most important. Then this afternoon we were joined by Beth from BCreative for musical moment for some gentle seated exercises to get our arms and legs moving and a sing along, a day enjoyed by all. (Tuesday 22nd July) A wonderful day with smiles all around, we played some games with the sticky ball target to which there was some cheating but I will not name names 😂, cheered lots, chatted lots to catch up while having hand massages and tried to win a million via the TV quiz who wants to be a millionaire (between us all we failed miserably 😂) then this afternoon a lovely sing along with Jeff the old guy and his piano while shaking some musical instruments which was fab and enjoyed by all who wanted to join us.
It's been lush seeing everyone today as well as meeting and getting to know a couple of newbies, I was welcomed back with lots of hugs which was lovely, as much as I wish I was saying I'm back unfortunately it's only during the school summer holidays, I will spend as much time with everyone over the next few weeks as and when I can, as I just cannot stay away, have a lovely evening all, 🙂 (couple of videos in comments) Wendy 🙂
