Hi, I'm Kirsty, your personal trainer

I have been a personal trainer for the past 16 years but exercise has always been a massive part of my life. I am passionate about my approach to personal training which means when we work together I will do everything I can to help you achieve your goals. I know what it is like to train hard and strive to reach goals so I will be with you every step of the way, whatever your goals are. Kirsty Jones personal training offers you 1 – 1 training in the comfort of your own home. Whether you are new to fitness and are out of shape or have been training for years and want to take you fitness to another level I can create a personalized training programme specifically designed to meet your needs. I cover a large area of Merioneth in North Wales and prices vary as I travel to you. For a specific quote please get in touch - as a guideline:

• Barmouth area - £30 per hour
• Dolgellau area - £30 per hour
• Harlech area - £30 per hour
• Porthmadog area - £35 per hour
• Criccieth area - £35 per hour
Shrewsbury area - £35 per hour

Your fitness program is designed to totally meet your needs and wants, right down to where you train. Our initial consultation will determine your current fitness level, your fitness goals and from that I will tailor make a training plan that will allow you to achieve your goals. I believe in working alongside you when you are training so you won't see me standing next to the treadmill with a stopwatch, I'll be running next to you. Confidentiality

Whenever I work with a client all details are totally confidential. Your stats, programme and even the fact we are working together will not be shared with anyone.

Its been a challenging weeks training for my clients battling against the weather, we've had snow, hail storms, wild winds, heavy rain and freezing temperatures but not once did any of them moan because when you get views like this and lungs full of clean fresh air it makes it all worth while!

Stuffed butternut squash and baby baked potatoes, here's how..........
half and de-seed a squash,
lightly spray with olive oil,
bake at 180 for 30mins along with baby potatoes split half way through
Remove squash from oven and stuff with cous cous, diced onions, garlic,peppers, olives, feta and if your a meat eater chopped lean bacon
Return to oven for 10 mins
Sprinkle with nuts (I used almond but pine nuts work well)
Grill gently for 5 mins

Serve in a bowl and eat with a spoon so you can scoop all that butternut squashy loveliness out.

I made enough for two in the hope there will be some left to take cold to work tomorrow but I don't fancy my chances 😂

Orange, carrot and cashew nut salad with a honey dressing. Cucumber, mint and water chestnut salad. Tomato and pepper salsa with a side of leaves, olives and balsamic and a dollop of Greek yogurt, because sometimes you just can't get enough salad!
