Cancer was the wake up call I needed to transform my life. I retrained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and then used hypnosis to stop smoking and s

top drinking. After researching more about cancer I changed my diet, eliminating all animal products from my diet and quitting sugar and processed foods. I began juicing and fasting and took a course in nutrition to support my learning. Soon I began to realise that health and wellness was more than just eating the right things and not putting toxins in your body. I discovered the powerful connection between the mind and body and went on to train as a meditation teacher. I began practicing yoga and came across Kundalini quite by accident. Struggling to find a teacher after Covid, I decided to train as a Kundalini Teacher myself. Now I am running classes locally in Barnard Castle. I truly believe in our own power to heal our bodies and mind. We have though become disconnected from ourselves. Most of us are caught up in a daily regime that does not serve our highest selves and we have lost our sense of purpose. Many, like me before, compensate through self medicating and addictions. Many just live for the weekend and then start again on Monday. My signature program, The Radiant Path, was created to help bring the whole self in balance. Using a combination of hypnosis, meditation and Kundalini as well as plant based nutritional support, the program supports you to identify and achieve your own personal wellness goals, aligning mind, body and soul. Mindful eating isn't just for people who want to lose weight. It actually supports your overall health and wellbeing.

Mindful eating isn’t a diet.

It’s not about counting calories, avoiding carbs, or labelling food as “good” or “bad.”

It’s about becoming present with your food and learning to listen to your body’s natural cues with curiosity, not criticism.

Mindful eating supports your digestive system AND your nervous system.

Here’s what mindful eating involves:

👉Slowing down and truly tasting your food

👉Noticing hunger and fullness signals

👉Eating without distractions (yes, even your phone!)

👉Being aware of emotional triggers that lead to mindless snacking or bingeing

Like many people, I was deeply affected by the devastating plane crash in India this week, the tragedy that claimed so many lives, with only one miraculous survivor.


Events like this reverberate around the world. Even if we’re far removed, we feel them.


These moments remind us just how fragile, precious, and unpredictable life truly is.


And with so much happening in the world - conflict, disasters, uncertainty, it’s easy to become consumed by it all.


When we constantly absorb that heaviness, it pulls us into a spiral of fear, sadness, and disconnection. The energy becomes dense, and we can lose sight of what grounds us. Of what brings us peace. Of what truly matters.

That’s why it’s more important than ever to come back to balance.


This weekend, I found my way back through something incredibly simple: gardening.


I spent time digging in the soil, planting vegetables, harvesting rhubarb (which became a delicious vegan crumble), and gathering elderflowers to make homemade elderflower champagne. It was earthy, meditative, and a reminder of the quiet joy that still exists all around us.

Being in nature gently draws us out of our heads and into our hearts. It slows the nervous system. It helps us breathe again. It reconnects us to the truth that we are nature, and just like the earth, we are designed to cycle, to rest, to grow, and to bloom.

When we begin to live in sync with that flow, everything changes.

And that’s the essence of The Radiant Path, the transformational method I’ve created to help men and women reconnect with their inner rhythm and live in harmony with themselves and the world.

It begins with awareness. Then we get intentional:

🌻Identifying what’s no longer working
🌻Creating a plan for change
🌻Reprogramming old subconscious patterns
🌻Strengthening mindset
🌻Using tools like coaching, mentoring, hypnotherapy and Kundalini yoga to align mind, body, and soul
🌻Nourishing the body

We can’t always change the world around us but we can transform how we live within it. We can return to joy. We can cultivate peace. And we can choose to live consciously, fully, and radiantly.
