Feel good"
Body/bath oil

Great for a blissful home spa treatment!

Carefully selected oils to hydrate, smooth and nourish skin with a mix of essential oils to boost the mood and make you feel good!

Use as a bath oil, adding a palmful to warm water. Rub palms together and inhale few times for extra aromatherapy.

Use as a body oil straight after a wash on the wet skin( better even after using my "Scrub Away" coffee scrub for the extra smooth finish!). You only need a little as the oil glides easily on wet skin and keeps in all the moisture. Be careful not to use too much to prevent that "oily" feeling.

“One For All”
Healing & soothing balm. 1 oz
100% natural, homemade.
Non-toxic. No chemicals or preservatives.
Since we’re all using a load of hand sanitiser these days, I’m guessing many of us have hands that are suffering. I thought it would be fitting to post a product that is going to relieve dry, cracking hands naturally!
You don’t need a lotion to effectively moisturise the hands. In fact, lotions are full of water, but this balm doesn’t contain even a drop. A balm is a combination of oil-based ingredients that are melted with beeswax to become a solid but pliable product. This balm contains nourishing oils, butters and waxes that will quench your dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth!
This miracle balm can be also used on lips, face, body, hands, cuticles, feet and even babies’ bums. It can be used as a face moisturiser, an eye cream, a scar treatment, after-sun lotion, after shave balm, hair wax or anything else you can think of. Anywhere where skin is dry, chapped, irritated, inflamed or needs extra care. It is mild enough for sensitive skin but strong enough to heal, moisturise and soothe.
It works wonders on skin irritations and redness, burns and wound relief. When we say multi-purpose, we really mean it!
This all-purpose balm is our family's best-kept secret for healthy skin!
This balm contains only natural and organic ingredients that together form a rich, nurturing and restorative multi-purpose balm that melts onto the skin like an oil, without clogging pores.
Without parabens, preservatives or chemicals. Perfect for spot treatments, but nice enough to use on all over your body.
“One For All” is an indispensable product for your bathroom cabinet, car, handbag, suitcase, or beach bag!

Ingredients:
Beeswax- (Organic)Beeswax is a natural wax produced by the honey bee, which is nourishing, protecting and anti-bacterial, providing good protection against the environment. Our beeswax comes from our very own honeybees!
Mango butter-(Organic)A superb hydrating moisturiser, with skin rejuvenating properties. It is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins B, C, D and E, protects skin from sun damage, tightens skin and is very healing.
Shea butter-(Organic)Shea butter has superb moisturising qualities, alongside healing properties and is used in products for dermatitis, psoriasis, and many other skin conditions. Additionally, due to its vitamin and fatty acid content, it is used in moisturising products to help reduce lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. NB shea butter can become slightly grainy, especially with temperature fluctuations, but this will disappear as you warm the product on your skin. Please do not worry that this adversely impacts the effectiveness of the balm - it does not!

Cocoa butter-(Organic)The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. These substances may improve blood flow to the skin and slow skin aging by protecting against damage from the sun's harmful UV rays.

Coconut oil-(Organic)Coconut oil has traditionally been used as a moisturiser in the South Seas for centuries, due to its intense emollient qualities. It is hugely hydrating and a safe solution for preventing dryness and flaking skin and is also beneficial for sensitive skins and those with psoriasis, eczema etc. It is often used in anti-ageing products as it is believed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sweet almond oil-(Organic)Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc. It is mild and hypoallergenic. It encompasses a great combination of properties: moisturising, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

Sunflower oil-(Organic)Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturising. The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it effective for protecting skin against bacteria and germs.

Soybean oil-(Organic)Soybean oil is rich in vitamin E, a nutrient that can help promote skin health. Applying it topically may protect against inflammation and help the skin retain moisture.

Olive oil-(Organic)Rich in vitamins, including A, D,E and K. Moisturising, antioxidant.
Jojoba oil-(Organic)An easily absorbed, light oil, very similar to the sebum found in our own skin, and so suitable for all skin types, including problem, oily and combination skins.

Vitamin E oil-(Organic)A classic antioxidant, vitamin E is derived from many fruit and vegetables and is known to protect against cell damaging free radicals and with the appearance of stretch marks, lines and wrinkles.

Evening primrose oil-(Organic)
Not only does evening primrose oil moisturise and soothe, it can enhance the texture and elasticity of skin, addressing dryness, irritation, roughness and wrinkles.

Calendula oil-Calendula is one of those British herbs that has been throughout history as a remedy for all sorts of skin aliments and is believed to have restorative and regenerative powers on the skin. Increasingly found in anti-ageing skincare, particularly good for sensitive skin.

Roman Chamomile essential oil-(Organic)
Comprising powerful anti-inflammatory and calming properties, Chamomile Essential Oil is a wonder ingredient to help soothe your complexion. Whether it's rosacea, irritation, acne or any other skin concerns, Chamomile Oil is a great natural remedy to calm your skin.

*contains traces of nuts/patch test for allergies.
Notes on Home Care:
The ingredients we use are natural in the real sense of the word. We avoid using emulsifiers, binders, surfactants and preservatives in our products that we consider harsh or unnecessary. However, this means that some of our balms and body butters may and can separate in hot temperatures i.e anything above 24 C*. There is no harm to the product or it's benefits, these ingredients will blend perfectly together with a quick stir of a clean instrument i.e a spoon with no damage to the product itself. Best to store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Our butters and creams are 100% synthetic free and made in small batches. Overall benefits include being nutrient rich, and suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.

Natural deodorant.

Today, I tackle a subject that no one really wants to talk about: body odour.
More importantly, I will tackle it naturally. Chances are, you’ve probably experienced body odour at some point. I am posting this because it was a touchy subject for me for a long time, and I’m hoping my (embarrassing) plight might be able to help you!
Why Natural Deodorant?
Eating a good diet and drinking enough water can really cut down the odour, but sometimes you need something else. Sure, the conventional deodorant antiperspirants work great, if you don’t mind infusing your armpits with aluminium and other additives! Preservatives and aluminium are linked to breast cancer. Not to mention anything that keeps you dry is blocking your pores, trapping waste in your body-yuck. I’d rather sweat!

I would like to talk a bit about why in the world of today you should use a natural deodorant-I mean, is it really so bad that we should take a chance on stinking up the room? YES. In my opinion, with breast cancer and Alzheimer’s on the rise it’s time to look into some safe alternatives. Did you know that there are 20 to 30 axillary lymph nodes under each arm? Translated, A LOT is absorbed in the underarm. There are so many scary ingredients in deodorant. Let me just name a few. You ready? Here I go-
• Aluminium– Some evidence links aluminium to cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease
• Phthalates– Endocrine disruptors often also found in plastic that can cause hormone imbalance and even infertility (especially in men)
• Propylene glycol– Common name: antifreeze. It is a hotly debated additive in personal care products but the Environmental Working Group reports that it carries a moderate risk of immunotoxicity and allergies
• Formaldehyde- a known carcinogen… guess it kills the germs though
• Parabens- Another hormone disruptor and parabens have been found in biopsied tissue with breast cancer
• Antibacterial Substances- I talked about these before but they are endocrine disruptors and can negatively affect the immune system

Why is this a big deal? Ever gotten sick and had a lump in your neck or armpit? That is a lymph node and they are a major part of your immune system. Putting endocrine disruption chemicals directly on top of them is a great way to screw up your hormones and suppress immune function.

Yeah, it’s scary and time to refuse to use something so potentially harmful!

I started this pursuit to avoid additives in regular deodorants.
For those of us who have sought a more natural option, you may have noticed that the pickings are rather slim. There are a lot of natural deodorants out there, it’s just that, well… most of them don’t work well. I say this from experience, as a woman who has been pregnant multiple times (pregnancy increases sweat) and keep exercising regularly.
So what to do?
Sweat like a horse or slather on the aluminium? Is there no other option?
Fortunately, there is!
I have been experiencing with different recipes and have finally found a variation what works and is still natural.
I can customise it according to your preferences and tastes. I can make it soft and creamy or more solid. I can make it with different essential oils or fragrances you prefer.
Does it work?
I will warn you, it is not as effective as using something you get at the grocery store. First, most commercial deodorants are designed to block your pores so sweat stays in your body, hence keeping you dry. A homemade organic deodorant’s main role is to neutralise stinky smells!

Coconut oil kills odour-causing bacteria and moisturises the skin.

High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.

Tea tree is antibacterial, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic and antiviral. Different essential oils have their own benefits and give the deodorant a lovely scent.

Baking soda has detoxifying effects that help neutralise acidic or alkaline properties in the body. Because of this, baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, can absorb odours to work effectively as an underarm deodorant. It has healing abilities that can treat skin infections, insect bites, and inflammation. Baking soda neutralises strong and unwanted odours, so as a deodorant it rids harmful substances from your body while offering long-term protection as well.

Arrowroot Powder is a go-to for DIY deodorant recipes, for good reason. Arrowroot not only helps to serve as a thickener in this deodorant, but it also has the power to help draw out toxins. Sweet! Since when we sweat we are eliminating toxins, why not help draw them out!?

Diatomaceous Earth (DE). Here’s where things may really get a bit different than what you typically see in homemade deodorant recipes.
DE is almost entirely silica, which is a crucial trace element needed by our bodies, and one in which many are deficient. By adding DE into your homemade deodorant, you are giving your sensitive skin a nice dose of DE (essentially, silica) which helps with sensitive areas of skin that might become rashy and it also helps to draw out toxins. So, not only does DE help draw out moisture and remove toxins, but it also helps to ease sensitive skin. Win!
Beeswax is used to harden the consistency and helps to keep in moisture. It is antibacterial, healing and softening.
I have been using this natural deodorant for 4 months now and it works on me! I go for long runs and work in the garden in the blazing sun. Of course, people are different and the same might not work for you. But it is worth trying!
Please note… if you are not used to using natural products for your armpits you will likely have a detox phase. This is totally normal!

Having an initial cleanse is actually pretty important. Or… if you find that you truly cannot go for a few days without deodorant, you will have to use this one (or any other natural deodorant) for a week or so before you body starts to adjust. It pains me to hear of people who try to use natural deodorants without detoxifying their pits, who then complain that they don’t work. You have to get rid of the decaying matter in your body (esp. breeding ground pits!!!) before you can ask your body not to smell …and remember, sweating is a GOOD thing!
We want to sweat… we just don’t want to stink.
A good way to detox your armpits is to use a clay mask. I make mine fresh and it says fresh for a week without any preservatives. Just let me know if you’d like a portion!
You may also want to do a little extra research on switching to a natural, organic deodorant to help give you a better understanding of what to expect. Also, if you want a stronger scent from the deo, I can make a stronger one for you!
f you are still struggling with odour or have itching or lumps in your armpits, consider dry brushing, which is said to help improve lymph circulation.
Also, make sure to drink a lot of water any time you stimulate lymph flow (dry brushing, massage, detox, etc) to help flush the body and avoid getting dehydrated.
After detoxifying, keep armpits functioning properly by letting them sweat! I know this isn’t the most socially acceptable (or the most pleasant at times), but I find that I experience less sweat the longer I use a natural approach.

Good news is that sweat itself does not actually stink. It is the bacteria that grows on sweat that cause odour. To eliminate that, always wash armpits before using natural deodorant and shave regularly. Only a mm of hair growth causes the build up of bacteria.
The bad news is when you remove the ‘plug’ of aluminium, you begin releasing what you had been blocking off, which contributes to that brief B.O. Basically, your body goes into overdrive, releasing waste, sweating some aluminium out, and yes, stinkin’ up a storm. It’s not that your all-natural deo isn’t working; it’s that your body is. Hard.

Your natural body odour will always peek out—it just depends on to what degree. I’ve come to accept nothing (at least nothing natural or naturally-derived) will completely stop it. But a little smell here and there is OK with me for the potential health upsides. I smell more “human” and, in the end, I’m alright with that. Hopefully you are, too!

If you have any questions, please drop me a line!

Honey
Acne: Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention.
Ageing: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down ageing.
Complexion boost: It is extremely moisturising and soothing, so it helps to create a glow.
Pores: Honey is clarifying because it opens up pores making them easy to unclog.
Honey is amazing for dissolving make up! It washes away easily, leaving your skin smooth and radiant!

Rosehip powder is a gentle exfoliator, adding extra vitamin C for brightening the skin.

Rosehip seed oil is well known for it’s benefits for skin! It is moisturising, anti-aging, healing, antibacterial. It brightens the skin, helps to reduce skin pigmentation, fights acne and sunspots.

Topical application of Sea Buckthorn oil has many benefits on skin problems. It promotes skin hydration, elasticity, cell regeneration, and even helps treat and prevent acne. Sea Buckthorn oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce swelling and redness associated with many skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.

Carrot Seed Oil works as a supporting and protective agent that not only enhances skin health but that also repairs damage on skin that has been exposed to pollution and environmental stress, which leads to symptoms of aging. Furthermore, it stimulates the growth of new tissue and new skin, thus promoting a clearer, brighter, evenly toned complexion. By contributing moisture, it relieves skin from irritation associated with ailments such as acne, boils, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and sores, leaving skin looking and feeling smooth, firm, nurtured, revitalised, and generally healthy. Regular use of Carrot Seed Essential Oil on the dry and cracked skin can result in the softening of calluses, the faster healing of scars, the calming of irritation, and the fading of redness and unwanted marks such as age spots.

Lavender essential oil
One of the most well known oils, used for centuries in bathing rituals and skincare, and coming from Latin, lavare, meaning to bathe. Balancing and stimulating at the same time, lavender is also antiseptic, and anti-viral while having a toning action on the skin.

Vitamin E oil
A classic antioxidant, vitamin E is derived from many fruit and vegetables and is known to protect against cell damaging free radicals and with the appearance of stretch marks, lines and wrinkles. Please return any empties to be reused!

Calendula oil
Calendula is one of those British herbs that has been throughout history as a remedy for all sorts of skin aliments, and is believed to have restorative and regenerative powers on the skin. Increasingly found in anti-ageing skincare, particularly good for sensitive skin.

Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.
