My name is Jenny Evans, and I’m a PhD researcher at Anglia Ruskin University. I’m currently conducting a study exploring how victim-survivors of sexual harm decide whether (or not) to disclose what happened to them, and what happens when they do. The study has received full university ethics approval and is now live.
The goal of the research is to help improve how both formal and informal support systems respond to disclosures of sexual harm, ensuring they are more compassionate, trauma-informed, and effective. I believe this may resonate with your service users and align with your organisation’s mission.
If appropriate, I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider sharing the survey through your social media channels and/or displaying a poster. I’ve attached:
• A few versions of the survey poster for ease of review
• A PDF version of the survey questions
• My ethics approval letter from Anglia Ruskin University

I’ll be away from my inbox for a short time from 21st–27th July, so I may not be able to respond immediately to questions, but I’d be very happy to follow up once I return. If there’s someone else I should contact within your team, please feel free to forward this on.
The survey will remain open until mid-August, and any support in reaching potential participants would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you for your time and for all the important work you do.
Best Wishes,
Jenny Evans
