Anyone want to do a doubles Hyrox with me??? 🤩 I googled some of the exercises and decided to start my training in case I can convince to represent the gang with me 😂. Didn’t have a sled so did some squats instead. I think we could win it 😉.

What an incredible day celebrating the Summer Solstice in the most magical place surrounded by such beautiful souls. you have a special touch! So many classes and talks, workshops and sound healing, as well saunas and cold plunges. I taught some higher intensity fitness classes but also had the pleasure of assisting with the Sound Healing at the end. Thank you to everyone who came out and brought their fabulous energy! What a gorgeous day!

I’m really loving these monthly hand balance/ handstand workshops . They are purposefully small in numbers so you get a lot of personal attention and specific guidance, where we focus on building confidence by cultivating strength and balance through drills and assists. We go through all different kinds postures - not just handstands, and we have a ton of fun in the process. Only a few spots left for this Friday’s class!

London Marathon 🙌🏼 what an epic race to be a part of 🤩. I’m still in awe of how seamless the organisation of it was - especially with the insane amount of people racing and spectating.
The race itself was amazing and horrible in equal measure 🤣. I felt incredible the first half even though there was a lot weaving and the water stations were quite chaotic. Super happy with my pacing although probably too fast in that heat. I was an utter idiot for not taking salt tablets with me and as I hit that last 8km I suffered the most painful and intense muscle cramps- my hamstrings, calves and even my toes. It was impossible to even walk let alone run. I kept having to stop in agony and stretch as the cramps moved from one muscle to another in both legs. I could see the time slipping away. I have never seen so many paramedics and runners collapsed en route from the heat. I was constantly checking my watch and calculating to see if I could still sneak that sub4. And then with 3km left, the crowd’s cheering next level, I just ran through it. I still didn’t think I was going to make it but then I heard the final 400m announcement, I checked my watch and just sprinted (it didn’t look remotely like a sprint, probably a slow shuffle to be fair 😅.) but I made it! Vowing to never ever do it again!
Thank you to my friends for staying with me as I laid on the side of the curb in the fetal position for almost 2 hours afterwards.
I feel almost fully recovered (thank god for yoga) minus the blisters on my toes which look super gross- apologies to all my students who will be inflicted with the sight of them for god knows how long.
Best bits from the race:
The sidewalk djs
The drag queen show
The fabulous staff - they were all so positive (extra kudos to the people handing out water bottles- it was like a war zone)
Incredible spectators - my favourite signs:
‘You think this is hard, you should try Hinge’
‘No one likes a quick finisher’

Wow - what a beautiful afternoon in my special place gathered together with the most incredible community! We really did shake off those winter cobwebs- we moved (and got a bit sweaty!), set our intentions, went deep into breathwork, rejuvenated through a healing sound bath and even had a little hand balance breakdance midway 😉. Thank you for the stunning cakes- as usual there wasn’t much left over! And thank you to my amazing students, some who travelled quite a distance to join us. I am so grateful to you all, and already planning the next one 🤩.

Spring (dare I say) seems to be making a gentle appearance - lighter mornings, daffodils dotted around, a little bit of warmth and such a gorgeous start to March. In a few weeks’ time we are meeting again at my favourite yoga space in Hertfordshire, the magical Cucumber Fields. 3 hours to gather together, awakening the body through breathwork, dynamic movement, deep stretches. Head massages and delicious treats. Restorative yoga and Sound Bath to leave us feeling refreshed and open to Spring’s possibilities. There are still a few spots available, but do get in touch as these retreats always sellout.
Saturday March 22nd 1:30-4:30pm, £65

Managed a sneaky session in between clients today- squatted heavy, worked on some pull strength and as always slammed a ball because it feels good!😎. If you are near the Lewes area this is the place to be . They have everything - yoga, dance, gym, PT sessions and so much more. I’m there every Thursday and would love to see you in class (don’t worry I don’t throw anything in yoga! 🤣) . Fiona and Gyles are the most amazing people, having created this wonderful community- you will not be disappointed!
And then grab some amazing food and delicious coffee . All round win!

Well Montréal you came through with the snow. That was magical. My kids finally tapped into their Canadian roots and did they ever do it all!
I’m gutted I couldn’t catch up with the rest of the extended family and friends since we were all plagued at some point with the flu 😷 but hopefully it won’t be long until we get together again. I have a crazy family, and feel very blessed to be a part of it 💕. Already counting the days til NC summer 2025 for more madness.
Now I’m looking forward to getting back into routine, training and teaching 🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻 🧘🏻‍♀️ . Thank you for a great class this morning my students!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with joy, light, health and love ✨✨✨.
This past year has really shown me that you can’t go wrong when you make choices with love at the forefront. I am so grateful to the beautiful souls that have allowed me to be a small part of their journey, either through yoga or fitness, and to this wonderful community that lifts and celebrates each other… ‘we are all just walking each other home’ .

I am looking forward to forcing my kids on more walks on the Southdowns 🙈, being close to nature and the sea, more handstands, more yoga, more lifting heavy weights, more runs, more chances to feel fear and being uncomfortable 🚲, more fun, more family, more love and hopefully a bit more sleep 😁. Cheers to the possibilities ✨
