At J.A. Clark & Son, we understand that every family’s needs are different. Our Simple Farewell service offers a dignified, affordable unattended cremation, while Simple Farewell Plus provides the opportunity for a small private gathering in our Chapel of Rest before cremation the following day.

Both options are designed with care, compassion, and respect at every step.

A Simple Farewell
£1,350 (inclusive of crematorium fees)
Our most affordable option, this is an unattended cremation that takes place on a mutually convenient date between 8am - 8.45am.
• No mourners in attendance
• All professional arrangements and care included, including guidance and administration (in person or remotely), transfer of your loved one into our care, provision of a coffin, transport and professional attendants
• Crematorium fee*
• Ashes available for collection or hand delivery within a five-mile radius of EN5 4BX

A Simple Farewell Plus
£1,800
Includes everything in A Simple Farewell, with the addition of a private 45-minute gathering in our Chapel of Rest (seating up to 20 people) for an intimate farewell at a time convenient to you.
• Unattended cremation takes place the following morning to the private ceremony
• Option to include a minister or celebrant (£280 extra)

* St Marylebone Crematorium, N2, or Islington Crematorium, N2 (other crematoria may incur higher costs).

My brief for today's funeral was 80 per cent various foliages of different textures with a few selected flowers namely white hydrangea, blue agapanthus and eryngiums. I chose Alchemilla, Asparagus Meyers, Bupleurum, Echinops, flowering mint to give it a beautiful fresh smell , Monstera and Fern leaves, Thlaspi Green Bell to name just a few plus a small heart from the grand daughter.
