CHANGE OF VENUE

Please note from next Tuesday 25th November the classes at St Joseph's Barnoldswick will be moving to the Civic Hall Barnoldswick. This will be temporary due to a heating issue.

Class times.
TUESDAY class time will alter slightly due to room availability.
It will be 12.30pm - 1.45pm

THURSDAY class will still be 7.30pm - 8.45pm

Class prices etc will remain the same.

I am sorry to inform you due to an increase in room hire I have no choice but to increase the price of my classes.
From 14th Oct class prices will be as follows -
£45 for a block of 6 classes. (£7.50 per class). This is for a 6 week block but can be used over 8 weeks on either Tues or Thurs at St Joseph's from date of purchase.

Drop in is £8.50

Classes at Earby Fitness Mill remain the same price or free to members of the gym.

Welcome April and happy new year!

To begin again!
We start a new year cycle as we move into April and the zodiac sign of Aries symbolized by the head of the ram.
Our bodies are in a constant changing form as we experience a continuous life cycle. We can not "begin" again until outmoded parts of ourselves have been released/ stagnant energy over winter.
Our yoga practice will help to cultivate the qualities, teachings and wisdom of this sign.
How can we tap into our inner warrior? How can we build strength and courage as we face challenges? At the same time maintaining a clear head.

In the coming weeks we will explore the energies of Pisces. The last sign of the zodiac cycle.
Can we integrate all we have learned and processed through the other 11 signs as we reach the in between. The ending of one cycle and the beginning of a new.

Connected to Ajna chakra - our intuition. Our direct line of communication with our inner wisdom.
Pisces rules the feet and the lymphatic system. This is part of our immune system and helps to keep body fluids in balance and defends the body against infections.

Look forward to sharing how we can bring this into our practice.

Chair/seated yoga is a gentler form of yoga. It achieves all the benefits of yoga while doing yoga postures and movements from a chair.
This peaceful practice works to boost flexibility and strength. It keeps you steady and helps you move smoothly from one posture to another.
By focusing on the breath it can help to soothe your mind and remove stress. Helping you to feel more at peace and increase wellbeing.
All these benefits help you to live a happier healthier life.
This practice is also suitable and beneficial for people with limited mobility such as those with arthritis, joint pain or reduced flexibility.

Therefore no class Tuesday at St Joseph's or chair yoga on Friday.

PLEASE NOTE
Sorry to have to cancel the classes this week due to the icy conditions. It doesn't look like it will be warming up for the rest of the week. Some of the side roads aren't safe to drive or walk on. Hopefully next week will be better. Look forward to seeing you then.
