Excellent teaching today by covering advanced medical cryotherapy for the removal of skin lesions. Led by Mr. Andrew Roberts, a former surgeon specialising in burns.

Many thanks to the lovely Rebecca for hosting at her clinic in Rochdale and the wonderful Amy Lamb at for organising.

I can't gush about the indepth dermatological theory, relevant to skin lesions, covered within this session enough... my mind is blown!

A day very well spent with excellent clinical theory and a lovely bunch of aesthetic nursing colleagues.

Self-care… it’s mucking out, Dave snuggles, horse nudges and donkey cuddles 🫶

My Sunday reset looked like this:

✨ Mucking out the amazing family of horses and donkies
✨ Acting as chief treat provider!
✨ Selfishly stealing ALL the cuddles, kisses, and finger nibbles from Dave 🐑, the donkies and the horses.

(The goats were living their best lives under the excellent care of another sanctuary volunteer)

Life gets loud & heavy sometimes, clinic, studying (always more to learn- just because ive completed my MSc, doesnt mean the study stops), clinical responsibility, and sometimes the best way to switch off is to step completely into nature and give your time to something that simply exists without pressure or expectation.

Being here fills my cup. Animals, fresh air, muddy boots, and a reminder to slow down.
