So I had an unexpected morning free today after plans had changed, so I created a rejuvenation morning for myself. I have been feeling the change in seasons, I have been tired, and as the geese fly, the leaves redden and fall, the nights darken and lights twinkle; there is a part of me at this time of the year that wants to settle and hibernate a little for a few months and be with nature. There are many ways to rest and to notice and honour what we need, it might be a deep breath, a phone call, dancing to a favourite song, singing on the top of your voice. Today I needed some balance, I did self havening whilst just smiling for 10 minutes. Havening is a wonderful technique that can be used to clear trauma, to calm, to relax, to create a positive and resilient state of mind. Havening literally changes your biochemistry through the creation of delta brain waves. I will start to post some more about this wonderful technique and others and if anyone would like me to set up a ZOOM HAVENING RELAXATION SESSION then please message me or comment below. My other way to rest this morning was to create, I am loving experimenting with linocutting and today's creation was a trilobite fossil, I love fossils and I was really pleased with how it turned out, there is a magic to carving and then inking and then the print being created. I hope whatever the day has been for you that there have been moments of balance, calm and creation. 🧡🔥🧡🌱
