💚 Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 💚
11th – 17th May

This week is all about raising awareness, encouraging conversations, and reminding everyone that mental health matters.

The 2026 theme is Action — because even small actions can make a big difference. Whether it’s checking in on a friend, taking time for yourself, speaking openly, or supporting others, every action counts.

Together, we can help reduce stigma, promote kindness, and create a healthier, more supportive community for all. 🌍✨

✨ Celebrating International Nurses Week ✨

This week, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who make a difference every single day.

Meet Jodie B, one of our dedicated nurses, who has taken the time to answer a few questions about her experiences, inspirations, and what nursing means to her.

✨ Nurse Spot light: Jodie B ✨

As part of International Nurses Week, we asked Jodie a few questions about her journey in nursing 💙

👩‍⚕️ What made you want to be a nurse?
➡️ I’ve always been passionate about health and preventing illness. I became a nurse because I’d rather help people stay well than just treat them when they’re not—prevention really is better than cure.

💭 What’s a moment in your career you’ll never forget?
➡️ “I just take 10mg!” — if the person this is about reads this, they’ll know exactly what I mean… unforgettable for all the wrong reasons!

💪 What keeps you going on tough days?
➡️ Keeping it professional… and knowing I’ve genuinely made a difference, even if it’s just to a small number of patients. That’s what makes it worth it.

❤️ What does being a nurse mean to you?
➡️ It’s a vocation, not just a job. I genuinely love what I do—although I won’t lie, there are the odd days when working in B&M sounds very appealing! 😄

📚 Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to or currently studying to be a nurse?
➡️ Don’t do it! …only joking. Do it for the right reasons. It’s not just a job, it’s a way of life—you have to live what you preach and be someone others can look up to.

Thank you, Jodie, for everything you do 🌟

✨ Celebrating International Nurses Week ✨

This week, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who make a difference every single day.

Meet Claire , one of our dedicated nurses, who has taken the time to answer a few questions about her experiences, inspirations, and what nursing means to her.

✨ Nurse Spotlight: Claire ✨

As part of International Nurses Week, we asked Claire a few questions about her journey in nursing 💙

👩‍⚕️ What made you want to be a nurse?
➡️ An interest in the human body, diseases, and treatment options, along with the opportunity to provide comfort, deliver therapy, and support people—even with the smallest things. Curiosity played a big part too.

💭 What’s a moment in your career you’ll never forget?
➡️ I don’t think there is just one—it's the little things that happen each day.

🤝 What keeps you going on tough days?
➡️ The support of colleagues.

❤️ What does being a nurse mean to you?
➡️ Giving feels better than getting.

📚 Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to or currently studying to be a nurse?
➡️ Be prepared—but also enjoy it 😊

Thank you, Claire, for everything you do 🌟

👩‍⚕️ What made you want to be a nurse?
