Our SEND parent/carer group 'The Climb' is back this Thursday 24th July from 9.45am at Wombwell South Family Hub.

The Climb welcomes the wonderful Jonathan Durrans from the Recovery College.
Jonathan is a recovery coach at the Recovery College and will be coming along to speak about all the great things on offer within this service.

You don't need to sign up! Just come along.. 😁

The Climb is a space for parents/carers to come together to share their experiences, as well as gaining information and support providing you with the tools and encouragement for your climb to support your child’s mental health needs. The aim of these groups is to help you feel that you are not alone in this climb, to get the help and support your child needs.

With Summer break just around the corner.. children and young people may potentially be spending an increased amount time with their peers both in person and online. Having conversations with your child about peer pressure, going through real life scenarios with them and putting plans in place with them can help support your child if they find themselves in a difficult peer related situation. This can also help them make safer, healthy choices and increase the possibility of them coming to you for help if they need it!
